I joined IK for engineering manager course and so far it has been incredible. They have a very comprehensive course and the instructors are from tier-1 software companies. The support staff is awesome and very prompt in responding to your queries and feedback. They also provide success coaches to guide you throughout the duration of the course. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to upskill their knowledge or prepare for interviews in tier-1 companies.

Interview Kickstart provides a comprehensive course that helps in interview preparation. I was part of Early Engineering Program and I found the course content to be of great quality. The video lectures, Live sessions and the overall structure of the course helps in better understanding of the concepts and provides a good hands-on coding experience.

As a senior developer aspiring to join a FANG company, I was uncertain about the best approach. After completing Interview Kickstart's (IK) full stack program, I now feel confident and well-prepared to achieve my goal. A friend who had also completed the program highly recommended it. With 15 years of experience in various firms across the USA, I aim to join prestigious companies that often require proficiency in Leetcode-style problems. IK effectively prepared me for this challenge. One aspect I appreciated about IK was their weekend class schedule, which fit conveniently into my busy routine. The classes, taught by instructors currently working at FANG or similar companies, were engaging and productive, thanks to their evident passion for teaching. Additionally, IK provided excellent support for issue clarification. Any questions I had were promptly addressed within 24 hours, demonstrating their commitment to student success. Overall, I felt IK genuinely cared about my progress, and their efforts were instrumental in my preparation for FANG company interviews

I started with journey with IK doing the Machine Learning SwitchUp program. The support team is outstanding and has been very flexible in helping me unlock alternative classes that work better for my schedule, and take a break the program when other life commitments took priority. They are also very attentive to feedback and are always trying to make the program better for its students. I think if you are serious about furthering your career, the Interview Kickstart program is the place to do it. Like any technical training, you will get what you put in. What I appreciate about the program, is the the content is curated and ordered in a way to best support your learning. It is both comprehensive and practical, covering essential concepts and having hands-on projects. I would highly recommend IK for those ready to advance their career!

I did the 2 month Early Engineering program starting in October 2023 and am almost at the end of my support period, which was supposed to be 6 months long but was extended three times because of a death in my family, a hurricane, and carpal tunnel syndrome. They have been very helpful with that. Overall, it is pricey but if you have the money and decide to do it, it is very helpful. For me, a guided structure always helps me stick to something, and I followed it as best as I could for nearly the first 2 months. The weekly cycle was: Class on Sunday (4+ hours), assignments to do (coding problems usually equivalent to medium or hard LeetCode questions, thorough video lectures, quizzes), and a coding test on Thursday (1 hour, 2-3 medium programming questions) followed by a lecture and discussion on it. That is for the first 5 weeks, then the next 3 weeks are for non-technical job searching skills. I got a job thanks to a cousin's referral near the end of that 2 months. I got let go after 4 months though so I am now making the most of my support period and all the resources and coaches are still there to help me. The most helpful things to me have been: lots of education, practice, and discussion on LeetCode style problems, followed by thorough strategies for job hunting, coding and behavioral interviewing skills, resume, finding referrals, negotiation, etc. They offer live 1:1 coaching and lots of sessions for various topics like coding problems, resume review, interviewing skills, strategy for reaching out to recruiters and aplying, and AMAs. Their support always responds within a day and are usually very helpful, including coding and technical questions as well as general issues. I have gained a lot of value from the program and would recommend it. The most valuable things to me were the mock interviews, frequent technical preparation, thorough technical videos (comparable to Salman Khan's videos from Khan Academy), resume reviews, and walkthroughs and guidance on applying for jobs, and their career workbook (which is an excel document that guided me on thinking about my ideal job, exploring job options available, and preparing for behavioral interviews) all with the help of professional and experienced people from big companies. TL;DR: In summary, it is pricey, but if you do it, it offers good and structured technical and non-technical preparation and professional guidance and opinions.

IK offers various programs for different roles/stages of career. I was enrolled into early engineering program which is helpful for the entry to mid level IT roles. Program consist of DSA Topics live classes + Mock interview sessions which are key to the success for real interviews. IK Support Team takes any request on priority and provides a resolution in 24 hrs where possible. On top of that SSA(Student Success Advisers) are allocated to each learner who guide and assist throughout the support period of 6 month to ensure success of Students. IK Sales Team could do better job in guiding through the right program based on the roles. Learners looking for Lead/engineering manager roles should opt for programs accordingly.

Very practical and helpful content and the mock interview service is amazing

Course Content is very good. It was beyond pattern matching approach most of people do by doing practice on lot of questions, There are good mentors to teach important topics, also mock Interview count is sufficient to get feel of it, system design content is also very good.
