Great product but some features are expensive

Increased prices by 6X - terrible experience. Other services (ZenDesk, etc.) are cheaper, better, and provide much better service.

Extremely expensive. Really not a comprehensive customer service when your use of the platform makes it especially expensive.
Toby
The platform itself is useful. BUT... their monthly fees are extortionate and if you want to speak to customer services be prepared to wait days to get any resemblance of an answer that isn't generated by one of their own 'bots' Recently they increased our monthly fees from $300 to $1800!!! And their justification for this: "We sent you an email 3 months ago saying we were putting our prices up, did you not get/read it?" I've spent over a week now trying to speak to someone from customer services to even get a human response. So far I've been passed from pillar to post with no hope of a resolution. Use at your absolute peril. There are other great customer service platforms out there that do the same job just as well for MUCH less; Freshchat, Zoho, Crisp, or even Zendesk. We've been using Intercom for over 2 years - trust us, they're not worth it.

"Charging money after trial period and cannot pay the money back" Unfortunately, I haven't tested the solution & cancelled the trial subscription 2 weeks before the normal end date. I am now chasing them as well as my bank to get a cancellation of the 90 euros fraudulently charged on my bank account....so unimpressive

Simple to set up, easy to use as a team. Making communication with customers very simple and organized.

Our biggest mistake was to submit our creditcard information to this company. We cancel the trial period the day before it finish and got a confirmation from Hannah, Two days after the charge our credit with 220$ and of course they replied that this was a mistake. 3 weeks after we are still fighting with them about getting the money back. Today we will make a claim to our bank for credit fraud. My advise: Still away and don't submit any credit card details - I don't think they have the money.

Hi Thomas, Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Intercom. We followed up with our support team and a refund has gone through to your card. We were implementing a new system during this period and so there was a short delay in being able to action this on our side. We are not in the business of charging people for services they did not receive. John

Pricey but worth it We've used this for our startup for some time and although it is expensive, it's worth it. Powerful feature set and good support
