I signed up having NO IDEA this was MLM, it was never mentioned until my Grand Opening!!! I just wanted to be a Travel Agent. I am now, with a reputable, real Travel Agency who pay me real money in a timely manner. IntelTravel owes me thousands of dollars for travel that I booked when I was with them for only a few months. After I realized no one in my direct line knew much about the travel industry or cared & definitely were only concerned about me signing people up under me, I wanted out. I had sold a bit of travel & was told even if I chose to disassociate myself from the company, if all of my paperwork was turned in, which it was, I would be paid. I verified with the proper people that all was in place & was told i would have my payments within 2 months. It has been 7 months & after checking multiple times, being told 3x to resubmit my documentation, which I did AGAIN & was told it was all correct. Then still nothing. 4th time checking in I was told all paperwork had to be resubmitted. I had nothing else i could submit, that was everything i was ever given by all suppliers. I’m being ignored now & not paid. I called the resorts & suppliers I had booked those trips with & it was confirmed that InteleTravel had been paid for my bookings. They are not paying me though. I wanted to believe they had integrity. I wanted to believe it just wasn’t a fit for me. I did my job & they are in breech of contract. Now I’m a real travel agent & know full well how little the “Agents” in this company actually know. No training other in getting people to sign up under you. I can not believe how terrible this has ended up.

I joined this business 18months ago, they took my money monthly but when it came to paying commission it was never paid. I contacted the department responsible for chasing it 3 times and still 3 months later no one has got back to me. They even tried to take payments after I had resigned and I had to report my card stolen so that no more money could be taken. The so called director had too many people in her team and was only focused on recruiting more people to boost her income. Horrible nasty person who slagged her team over Facebook commenting on things she did not know the full details of. Avoid this company at all costs it’s not what it seems. The promise to pay back membership within 12 months of joining is a scam as they have it all covered in “the small print”.

Advertised as not being a pyramid scheme but that’s exactly what it is. The people at the bottom work hard to try and break even whilst the people at the top get richer and richer. It is advertised as earning 10% of all travel bookings this is not true as Inteletravel take a % and you have to pay fees, you’re lucky if you receive 4%. They also make it as difficult as possible to have the money sent to your bank. It’s very much pushed to recruit other people rather than actually sell holidays. It is not worth the hours I put into establishing myself and it is definitely a pyramid scheme.

1 star is generous. You are a scam. I was completely missold this policy and unfortunately it was at the time we were hit with the unexpected pandemic which I understand has affected everyone. I am disgusted this is never made clear to new starters and that during such a difficult time financially you expect us to book holidays when the world was almost closed to fly outside of the country or even stay in an accommodation in the UK which has only realistically, just gone back to normal. I have requested an immediate cancellation of this policy. And if another payment from my bank is taken I will not hesitate to take this further. I will be making it very clear to friends/family and social media that you are a con artist and take people for granted. I do not want any one else to go through the anxiety this has caused me and upset of how much money this has cost for NOTHING. The “support” given is a shambles. This is not as you would expect from a “high class company” as you say you are. A company so big should not cause you so much distress. You are told to go through so many different cancellation steps to actually get confirmation. I can’t even log onto my account to action what is advised and it will not let me reset my password anymore. Do not read a word they say “Just write a request within a month of your one-year enrollment anniversary and ask for a refund. We will calcuate what you made and refund the money you didn't earn back.” > FALSE! Absolutely awful experience, please do your research for at least a year before agreeing to a pyramid scheme like this.

I joined as an agent a few months ago and haven’t received any help, support or made a penny! I sent an email because I couldn’t get access to a booking and training portal and didn’t get a response for weeks so missed out a big booking! I have been paying £32 a month for nothing and sent an email to cancel 4 days ago and still have not received a response!

I have looked into this and it really is just encouraging “agents” to sign up as many people as they can to join their team. Our small town is now awash with these young people (mainly women) calling themselves Travel Agents. Most have no experience of different countries and have just watched a few training videos. I also notice that after their initial excitement and enthusiasm on social media at being told they are Travel Agents, they soon disappear. I actually don’t think local sites should allow them to advertise what is actually pyramid selling.

I wanted to select NO stars. I have been trying to quit Inteletravel for 6 weeks now, they just won't let me leave and keep taking my money. Their contact system is atrocious. I have sent many emails, they seem to place as many hurdles as possible to keep you in and paying. Not happy, I signed up 5 months ago and spent alot of time and money working it. Very excited at the beginning. I still believe networking marketing is a great concept, but please tread carefully with Inteletravel. Chances of success is very very slim. You are not allowed to share the truth about the business. I hope you every success in all your endeavours. I appreciate many are still trying to succeed in this, if you believe then continue. But just get a true picture of the way they operate. Apologies for the negativity. Good luck.

EDIT: a couple of days after posting this Inteletravel had found my cancellation request and refunded the £64. You do “train” to be a travel agent but after watching mandatory videos the test consists of a multiple choice quiz which you need to get full marks on (and if you don’t the up lines just give you the answers). Any questions I asked the uplines I was constantly referred to the Live Chat option (message the US based agent support service basically) or told to search the Facebook group - which I always did first before asking much to my frustration. Genuinely don’t think a lot of people were knowledgeable but mainly in it to recruit and build a team which is where the money is at. And take the 5* reviews with a pinch of salt, while I was a part of this they were asking everyone to leave good reviews. I decided to leave as I had set up a little business on the side that was just going to be a hobby as and when but that started doing well and with a full time job as well I didn’t have the energy for this anymore. FIRSTLY there is no where on the back office that states how you can cancel your monthly £32 payment. I ended up going on the Live Chat which I was given a link to a page where I submitted a form to cancel - I have no doubt that I filled this in correctly as it took so long to get to this cancelling stage I had triple checked everything was correct and submitted!! This was the beginning of August, I then had a payment taken out end of August. I was half expecting that as I thought I might of missed the cut off for that period. However end of September and I had another payment £32 taken out!! I immediately logged back into my travel agent portal (surprising since this was supposed to have been cancelled) and submitted a ticket, then I found the customer service email and also emailed them (Live Chat wasn’t available). I still haven’t had a response and this was about 4 days ago now. The payment also doesn’t show as a direct debit or standing order (which you can immediately cancel) so I have just gotten off the phone to my bank. Interestingly the guy told me that this payment is set up as a repeat card payment which you can’t cancel off your banking app or even online and in his own words he thinks it’s scammy as it makes it difficult for people to stop the payment, bearing in mind I went through InteleTravels own procedure of cancelling nearly 2 months before. The only perk to this was getting exclusive rates through a website as someone in the travel industry. Personally though I would not recommend this after the hassle it’s been to stop the payments and from other reviews it doesn’t look like I’m the first to have this problem. Just do your research and decide for yourself if it’s worth it x
