I joined inteletravel about a year ago
I joined inteletravel about a year ago. I joined mainly as I am the person in the family who books all of the travel. I am always looking for the cheapest deals so thought I would join. So far I have booked two trips abroad and an overnight stay in London. I have saved £1300 on these bookings, which is incredible. I am now starting to ‘branch out’ and book for family and friends. You have to do mandatory minimum training and then can do as much additional training as you want. There’s a great support network and I’ve made some new friends. If you are booking the travel in your house anyway - there’s a better way to do it snd if you put the work in you can make a lovely business from it.
I have read some of the bad reviews and seems to be like marmite - you love it ir hate it.
I am part of a lovely team. I have no pressure - I have found holidays significantly cheaper - some holidays you can’t price match. I can’t wait to book a special trip away and expect to have a fabulous holiday at a fraction of the price.
My friend joined another travel company and paid £7,000.00 which is the equivalent of about 18 years payments. They also get some of their commission upfront / which means if the holiday is cancelled they have to pay it back. I would personally much prefer to wait for commission so I do t get into any difficulties in owing anyone money.

My completely honest, raw, transparent review.
I've been a member of InteleTravel UK since September 2019. I joined when I entered my final year of uni, and stuck with it all throughout Covid. I started out using it solely for my own personal travel, and am now turning it into a full business for myself, and am ever-increasing my knowledge of the travel industry and how I can find and book the best travel experiences for my clients.
I'll be transparent with my story. For the first 2 years since I joined, I let this business completely pass by me. I didn't hop on the bandwagon of success that InteleTravel has had in the past 2 years, which is the more success that this company has had in the past 30 years since it started. I didn't see the full extent of the vision. It's only within the past few months that I've really said "Ok, let's do this for real". I owed that much to myself.
What saddens me the most though, is seeing all these awful reviews. Not once in all my time being in this business have I ever felt that this is a "scam" or any of the other negative words that this has been described as. In fact, I have never ever been prouder to be a part of something so fantastic, so exclusive, and so thoroughly enjoyable when I actually do to the work.
Ever since Day 1, I've felt a part of something larger, something so magical, and that's all due to the community that we've all created and immersed ourselves in. On a real note, I wasn't coping very well mentally towards the end of 2021; I had no vision, motivation, and I just felt so lost. Since realising once again what this business can do for me, I started to put in the effort again, and I am a completely different person from the girl I was just a few months ago. I've never been more driven, focused or dedicated, and I have the biggest go-getter attitude that I've ever had, and that's simply just from this community alone. I've met some incredible people from this and have made genuine friendships, as well as being constantly surrounded by like-minded people who are simply all about growth, personal development, celebration and positivity - what more could you ask for when starting a new venture?
These negative reviews are purely down to personal experience, as are reviews for anything in life, but one theme I'm witnessing particularly in these, is that these reviews are from people who haven't even given the business a real shot. People are often promised when they join that they're becoming a part of something that can be life-changing for them, and you know what? It absolutely can, without a doubt, but ONLY if you put in the work. How can you expect to see great results if you don't actually try to take this somewhere? With any business in life, you can't start it and then take the back seat and then get upset or angry about not achieving the results that you thought you'd have. If you started your own business and didn't see any results or progress in 3 weeks, would you just give up and start complaining about the industry or companies involved? No, because it's only yourself who is causing you to have no results.
There are incredible amounts of resources, training and tools to help you make the absolute most of your travel business, that you have the choice to learn about and really get great at it. Help is available from the company and teams 24/7, so it's hard to feel lost or unsure of what to do, because support is around you at all times.
I've seen this happen many times before, that people are so excited to join because they know exactly what they are signing up for and what it can do for them, but then read the reviews and that completely puts them off - it's a real shame. I mean, I get it - I was exactly that person before I joined this; I nearly let the negative reviews become my objection to starting, but something in my gut just felt right about this business. It just made sense for me, and I saw the great things people were doing in this business. So, I trusted my gut instinct, said yes, and joined, and 2.5 years later here I still am. Only really just taking this business by its horns now as I'm at a stage in my life where I now want this to be what I focus on. Never once have I blamed InteleTravel for anything, because I know that my previous "lack of progress" and "success" per say, was purely, and simply, because of myself.
Don't let these negative reviews sway you if you feel deep down in your heart that this is something you want to try out. Take the leap of faith, allow yourself to grow. See for yourself what this business can offer you, and then DO. THE. WORK. Other people won't run your business for you, only you will. So don't waste your chance to be a part of something that can be life-changing for you, as it has evidently been for others who have really ran with it and trusted the process.

(also, there's a 30-day money back guarantee if you want to cancel, so what have you got to lose?)

To Laura Hutchinson
To Laura Hutchinson, who recently wrote a review here. I am an Inteletravel agent. I am in a team with 3 very influential agents who have huge Instagram followings and they send us the answers to all the training in our team WhatsApp chat. So you can just copy the answers in. They all do it !
I have found the savings on my own travel to be very good and have no interest in selling travel to others or recruiting. I find everyone to be very nice and friendly too and I enjoy the information and recommendations for hotels and destinations.

Travel lover accessing cheaper deals
I’m an agent with the host agency InteleTravel and looked at a couple of other companies in the U.K. before getting signed up with intele.
What stood out to me in these reviews was the confusion of it being a mlm/pyramid etc and I can say after thorough research and speaking from experience it definitely is NOT.
I am an agent only, I chose not to partner with plannet who’s the other company you have the option to partner with if you want to have your own team of agents and more earning potentials. I love to travel and use the travel booking system purely for our own family savings, on occasion I’ve booked my close family travel too as I was able to access better rates and earn the commission back myself.
In the beginning it took me a while to learn the systems and partners sites but over time I’d like to now say I’m much quicker at doing price comparisons and knowing where to go.
This definitely isn’t something for you to get rich quick overnight or in a few weeks but it does however provide long term earning and of course if you are travelling yourself it makes sense to use to save and get the agent discounts.
I actually made my yearly fee back in my first commission I earnt!
Only downside is the company is US so office isn’t open until 2pm in the afternoon if you have questions. Saying that though the chats, team support and mentor I have are incredible.
I guess it depends what you’re looking for, if you want cheaper travel, a flexible income earner on the side or want a new career change then yes definitely explore further. I watch a lot of the team doing the marketing bit and to be honest I have to say it’s much better seeing holidays shared than these skincare/weight loss products. I’d be tempted if my situation changes to try that side!

Be a lion and not a sheep!
Amazing training provided that you can do in your own time and as you please. You are not targeted to a certain number of sales you do, so you can do as little or as much as you like!
Personally, I think people who call it a scam simply have not worked hard enough!
They have joined a company and expect results immediately. When you join network marketing it is all about resilience and the work you put in. How much work you put into it is exactly how much you’re going to come out with!
My first 2 months joining the company were a little slow. But this is due to me trying to train myself as much as possible so I had the knowledge for when speaking to customers. As well as trying to build your own business and becoming established! Remember guys, would you buy a holiday from someone who had literally just made a Facebook or Instagram page and had one photo/holiday on? The answer is no. You build your own page and your own clientele so people know you and what you do.
Once you have that, trust me... the bookings fly in! It is such an enjoyable job/hobby to have!
All staff are so friendly and will always try their best to encourage every one on board and be at hand when you need help. You are given every bit of material to work with... and the sales have to come from you!
I have booked some amazing amazing breaks for myself, my family, my friends, and now I book them for complete strangers! That’s right, people who have never even met me, or spoke to me on the phone. But because of the effort I go to, to ensure I find them something so perfect for their wedding anniversary, birthdays, Christmas... you name it! They will come.
Be patient with it and it really is a pleasure to work for inteletravel and is a bonus that you get money in your pocket at the end of it.
Be a lion and not a sheep. People are always going to speculate and try and pick faults and try to be negative... but simply, they do not know the business. Make your own decision.
I am so glad I joined and will definitely not be turning back!

Not booked much travel but here to stay…
I’ve been with Inteletravel for just over a year, joined as the pandemic hit sadly so have not been able to book much travel as yet BUT I see the bigger picture. I wasn’t approached by anyone I have to say, it was me that approached my mentor & I’m so glad I did!! After getting the info, I did my OWN research. I’m a real sceptic & have to look into EVERYTHING before I make a decision, even went through many reviews on here. I was a little wary I’ll be honest. I always used booking.com for my travel & I would read all the hotel reviews before I booked but as with anything in life, you’ll ALWAYS get bad reviews as everyone doesn’t like the same things. Let’s face it people will always be happy to write about a bad experience, that's a fact of life, & when people have a great experience, yes, they’ll talk about, but it’s not very often people put pen to paper, so to speak, to shout about it, they’re happy, they enjoy it, they move on. I did my research, then I made a decision all on my own, without any pressure from anyone.
I initially wanted to do this just to book my own travel & for my family & friends, I work too, so wanted this as a little something extra, I wasn’t interested in having a team of agents until someone I knew was interested in joining too, so I decided to do the marketing side, again completely MY decision. I now have a very small team of agents & can actually say hand on heart they all approached me for more info & came to their own decisions. None of them do the marketing side, they're all independent travel agents, most of them just wanting book for themselves & family etc. They have no involvement with network marketing whatsoever & neither will they be asked to do so.
It’s been a difficult year all round for the whole world with Covid & the industry has been hit so hard. For that reason so many people have struggled with getting refunds on trips booked, not just Inteletravel & our partners, there are so many stories of people still waiting on refunds from last year. My friend is still waiting for hers & she booked through a high street agent may I add. Some reviews here will lead you to believe that it’s because you booked through an Inteletravel agent, but that is not the case, there are issues throughout the industry! If this was a scam ABTA would not have allowed Inteletravel to be proud members.
I’m happy to pay my small monthly fee because on one holiday alone last year I saved more than what I paid out for the year, no scam there! I was more than happy. One of my team booked staycations last year for clients AND saved them money, they were over the moon. The same lady in my team has booked a holiday for late this year & saved herself £2000 because she got the best agent rate. I could go on. I also run another business (yes, I’m that busy) and I pay more for that website & upkeep than I do for this business & I don’t get the extra benefits!!! It does make me laugh with the comments about having to pay a monthly fee, where can you start up a business with no set up costs/overheads? My other business had costs for website, stock, deliveries, I could go on….
HOWEVER, don't be thinking you’ll be rich quick, as with any business, you have to put in the work to reap the rewards, so if you want to run it as a business, great, really go for it, but don't expect miracles, if you want to just book travel for yourself & family & friends & earn a little bit then great.
I’m actually writing this, not because I’ve been asked to, but because a year on I wanted to. It makes me sad to see people that have not had a good experience as it’s been nothing but great for me from the beginning. I joined the right team, who are supportive & have become great friends, maybe some of the negative reviews are because they didn’t have the right team & guidance? I’m a very different person from when I started & I’m grateful for that. I’m more positive, my confidence has soared & I work alongside the most inspiring group of people I’ve ever met. I’m 52, worked for many years & this is a first for me.
Yes, they’ll be people who have issue with how some things are done within Inteletravel, but please remember this, no business has staff that are 100% happy with everything the company does, or the decisions it makes, in my day job, I’m unhappy about certain things all the time & don’t necessarily agree with the choices made. Think about your own job, you’ll always have colleagues unhappy about something at some point!
If you’re reading this, you're obviously researching, like I did on this very site, but come to your own conclusions, I read some negative reviews but I chose to go for it. Just be an agent, do the marketing side, don't do the marketing side, the decision is YOURS, you have the power to decide.
I’m sticking around as I’m so excited to be able to finally getting booking for people full speed ahead as soon as we can travel again!!

The only reason this doesn't get 5…
The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is that no person or company is perfect.
I started in May 2020 during the middle of the pandemic. I figured it would be good so I can get certifications and training out of the way before travel reopened. I am so glad I did.
The certifications I have gotten such as a Hawaiian destination expert, Orlando destination expert, Hilton and Marriott certified, etc. were all free through my business. Yes, there are some things you pay extra for, like if you want to go to a convention so you have to fly/get a ticket/hotel/etc. but, that is really it.
They can be a little slow with paying a commission and you do have to sometimes track it down but, nothing that has caused me too much stress. I always get paid what is due.
As for the whole MLM thing. Inteletravel is NOT an MLM. It is a legit, 25+-year-old host agency that has partnerships with Disney, Marriott, Delta, etc. They would not partner with an illegal pyramid company. You get paid 70% from the commissions and no one else takes any of that from you. The way hosts agencies work is you use their travel credentials vs. paying thousands to get your own. So, that is why they do take some of the commission as they hold the credentials. It makes sense to me. It is also NOT a travel club like WorldVentures or anything like that. So, no need to worry about all those membership things.
I literally book about $30K a month in travel and that is what I earn my money on. It is legit and can be very lucrative if you work it like a business and not a hobby.
Now, you know how if you work at a corporate company and you refer someone for a position you get like a finders bonus? You can get something like that through a separate company - not Inteletravel. If you do bring on another agent - you get a bonus for them signing up. It is paid by the company, not the person signing up. Then you get a monthly bonus from the company, not from them. However, you DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS AT ALL. So, if it is not your vibe - you don't do it.
