Instant pot 12 cup rice cooker. I got this as a gift. There are NO INSTRUCTIONS in the box on how to use it. There is a qr code to find recipes that are for every other instant pot device. I just want to know how much water to rice , how long does it take ect. What is wrong with including an instruction manual when supplying these goods.

Bought an air fryer and year ago
Bought an air fryer and year ago, the draw and separator element need replacing. Problem is, you go to the website for spares and you're told they're having problems with this area. Then tell me they're working on it... for four months now!!! Don't go near them... a load of rubbish

Poor product quality and disappointing service
I bought an Instant Pot rice cooker last November and have since stopped using it.
The rim of the inner pot is unusually sharp and feels unsafe to handle. The lid also does not close properly unless I manually push the inner pot backward first, which makes the product feel poorly designed.
I also submitted a review with photos on Instant Pot’s own website, but it was never published. That made the experience even worse, as it gives the impression that critical customer feedback is not being handled transparently.
Overall, I am disappointed with both the product quality and the service.

I orderded an instant pot duo crisp 2 days ago ( in NL) with expected delivery for today, after emailing them because the product didn’t arrive, they answer saying that the product is out of stock and they cancelled my order. They arent a serious company.

I purchased an INSTANT SOLO COFFEE…
I purchased an INSTANT SOLO COFFEE MAKER. Imagine my surprise when I got it and was so excited to use it only to discover they sent me non working junk! When I contacted them about the issue they asked me for a video (which I sent) they then said the video was to long and to send photos of the heating element ( ARE YOU KIDDING ME) like I would know where that is and would be willing to tear it apart to find it. I didn't demand my money back just a working machine and all's I have been doing for a week is emailing back and forth and still no working coffee maker. What a total scam! Don't buy from thes n people unless you have any to loose your money because that's what will happen and they will not stand by their warranty.

Rude customer service and overpriced replacement parts.
I really did not want it to come to this, but after a snotty comment from their social media team telling me to "stop spamming" after I had literally posted TWO comments, followed by them blocking me (mature), I decided to be a little less nice about the situation.
It started when a crucial, but tiny, plastic button on the lid cracked and broke off. A basic Google search brought up countless results pointing out that this appears to be a known issue with the model I have... or rather, had.
I reached out to Instant Pot to find a solution, only for them to offer me the option of purchasing an entirely new lid for R1,095, plus R200 for courier fees. That's almost half the price of a brand-new machine of the same model. I replied, pointing out that this was a little ridiculous, as customers are essentially left with no real choice. Either pay the inflated replacement cost or sit with an appliance that is completely unusable.
To their credit, they did come back with an offer of 20% off the lid (although I would still need to pay the courier fee), which is slightly better. They also offered collection as an option. I replied and asked where they were located, but I have yet to receive a response.
At that point, I decided to be a little petty and, at the very least, let people know that replacement parts are incredibly expensive. I posted TWO comments about my dissatisfaction with having to purchase an entirely new lid. Not 20. Not 10. Just TWO. Apparently, that qualifies as "spamming."
I responded to their comment with a bit of zest, and they promptly blocked me. Great job for a brand! Let's block an unhappy customer instead of trying to find a solution that both parties can be happy with.
I then received a WhatsApp message from someone named Sue, asking whether she could give me a call. I responded and said yes, but decided there is no point as they have already shown their true colors.
At this point, it would actually be cheaper to buy a budget machine from a brand like Hisense or Milex (which, by the way, costs less than the Instant Pot replacement lid). At least then, when it breaks, you can simply replace the entire appliance.
