Please don’t get sucked into a contract with these people. I signed a 18 month contract because I was having problems with little sugar ants in my house. I’m 10 months into my contract and I still have ants, roaches and spiders . Besides them not being able to show up on time they do a poor service. Personally I would recommend any company besides Insight. I canceled my contract after 10 months because I saw no results . Better off buying Ortho and Zevo and doing it myself ! BTW 210 dollars to cancel . Terrible company !

Insight Pest Solutions Rio Rancho seems to have very shady billing practices. They trick you into signing a one-year contract by offering a discount. They send people out to apply a product that does not work then automatically charge your card (that's the only billing system they use), then if you try to cancel, they bill you for the discount they gave in the beginning. WHAT A SCAM.

Be careful with this company...this is a huge scam. They lock you in for a year and promise that they will take care of the problem however they send undertrained, unknowledgeable, unwilling students to do the work. Their 'guarantee' is also a scam as once you try to book follow ups they force you to wait 4 weeks and live with the original problem. Do yourself a favour and avoid the headaches that this company will give you. Go with Orkin Pest Control...they are an outstanding company that have expert staff that actually care about their clients.

They showed up at the door steps. We are always skeptical of this tactic. Yet, we allowed the sales guy to go through his pitch, we were somehow convinced especially that they are a local company as well with a footprint in the Hamilton Burlington area. We signed for 4 services over a year. They came once inside the house. The other three times, it was a "service" from outside the house. They'd just leave a peace of paper at the door that they were here and send an email to "confirm" the service visit. When trying to cancel 6 months after, they said we have to finish the one year "contract", otherwise, we have to pay a cancellation penalty. Waited for the whole year, trying to cancel is a nightmare. Once they hear the word cancel, they put you on hold forever. Eventually with a lot of perseverance and wasted time, was able to speak to someone and they said the service is cancelled. I asked them to send a confirmation email, nothing. Very shady practices, looks like a small claim court is the way to go now if they continue to bother me. Stay clear

DO NOT DO IT!!!! The service here is absolutely terrible. The products for mosquitos do not work at all!!! The first young gal that applied the first application did not have working equipment. Her sprayer did not spray, it had a stream of chemical. The spray needs to be atomized to be delivered properly. She spent around 3 to 4 minutes on the property streaming a chemical in random places. No change in the mosquito population was noted whatsoever. I figured Id give it another chance. The next month when they came out the guy was here once again for just a few moments. quick in an out. I have large hedges down one side of the yard. he barely applied anything and missed most of it. No change in mosquitos at all. I called and attempted to discontinue the service. They talked me into staying and sent another applicator out right away. He spent no time here either and no change was made. I called the office to cancel and i was told that there would be no further charges until spring. I was charged for November, December and now January of 2025. I just noticed the charges. I just called to cancel and am told they are going to charge me an additional early termination fee of $150. for a product that does not work. My mission is to now inform everyone i can on every platform available to beware.

After Brodie the tech who was a germaphobic, also afraid of spiders, pests & RODENTS didn’t do his job at my house (inside & outside), the person who read my 1 star review called to apologize & she got another tech to come out the day after. David was the lead who came out. He called before he arrived & said “how dare you expect quality customer service!” I thought surely he had to be joking BUT even so, I am an unhappy customer and you’re going to utter these first words out of your mouth to me? He came to my door and I told him I spoke with Annamarie and she was very polite and respectful and I was grateful she got someone else to come out. His exact words were “you mean that mousy voice lady?” I asked why he referred to her like that and he said “we all talk about her mousy voice.” I was shocked that yet another disrespectful comment came out of his mouth! He came in and just like Brodie who broke my closet light fixture, he broke my wall! Did he apologize & report it so the company would pay to repair it? No! He was talking nonstop and I mean nonstop! Every time he said he was going to put a trap here he forgot. I had to remind him. When he went outside, he forgot what he went to do. I had to remind him. He admitted he is ADD! Then I asked him how long Brodie has worked for the company. He said 2 MONTHS! I asked why they would have someone afraid of his own shadow, unable to make eye contact, unable to speak to customers, scared of insects & rodents ride solo. His EXACT words were “we are digging through the bottom of the barrel when it comes to entry level people so we don’t want to fire them.” I asked David if keeping people like Brodie in a service industry business that needs customers to survive is a good idea. He said “we don’t have a choice. Besides, Brodie is autistic so you can’t expect him to be sociable and make eye contact. But don’t worry we all like him at work.” This from a company whose mission is “customers first, pests second.” Wow what liars, hypocrites and crooks! Not once did this company offer compensation for what they have put me through! Not once did any of the owners or top leaders call me to discuss this and apologize! They are too busy drumming up business via withholding information.

I had a very disappointing experience with Insight Pest Canada. Not only did they fail to eliminate the pests in my home, but they also provided horrible customer service. After several treatments, the pests kept coming back, and it was clear that their solutions were ineffective. To make matters worse, they overcharged me for services that did absolutely nothing. I was also shocked to find out that they never informed me about a cancellation fee until it was too late—totally unprofessional. I felt blindsided and taken advantage of. I wouldn't trust them with pest control again, and I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for a more reliable and transparent service.

Door to door soliciting. Constantly annoying people who have already cancelled with their company. Horrible work environment. Forces people to pay a fee of the full month in order to just cancel. Contract based to avoid legal troubles, and overall a terrible company with no care for anything except furthering their income. Prices constantly go up, chemicals almost never work constantly, as well as subscription based. AVOID at all costs!
