Technician did a poor job and did not complete all services they were supposed to. The company then charges a $200+ cancellation fee when told not to bother coming back, citing some agreement that nobody ever mentioned when first signing up.

A good friend of mine was forced to sell her house to move into assisted living. Has a subscription for services for the residence and when she went to cancel the subscription DUE TO NOT OWNING THE PROPERTY!!! They charged her $175!!! How horrible of greedy people!!! This is a company who preys on the elderly so AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Talk about rubbing salt in the wound.

This company makes their money based on a locked in contract for 4 services. After the 1st service we did not feel that the spider control was adequate. When I went to cancel, I was notified that whether I went ahead with the service or not, I would be paying for the service. When I was transferred to cancellation department, I was forwarded to voicemail.

Review: I hired Insight Pest Solutions in Toronto to remove a wasp nest directly outside my front door. Unfortunately, my experience was very concerning. The technician sprayed an aerosol product without providing any safety guidelines or health precautions. Within minutes, the chemical smell spread throughout my entire home. When I raised concerns, both the technician on-site and the company by phone told me it was “impossible” and dismissed the issue. Poison Control Ontario gave me very different guidance, advising me to vacate and ventilate because of the health risks if the smell was that pungent .I had to remain outside my home for over 8 hours, wearing a mask when I went back in. At no point did the company ask about ventilation, the age of my home, or whether anyone inside had health conditions — all of which should matter when using chemicals so close to a front entry. I was left feeling that my family’s health and safety were minimized. I’m sharing this so that others in the community are aware and can make an informed decision.

Kid came to my house and sold me a "special" $74.00 a quarter. Sounded like a great deal so I signed up and now they want $74 A MONTH! DON'T GET SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE! Now they're hounding me for a cancellation fee even though I keep offering to PAY FOR THE SERVICE BY QUARTER! lol

First off you need to understand that this is a hard sell company that will promise you the moon. We were told all the things they were going to do: spraying 3' up on the outside walls, removing all spider egg nests from the eves, etc, etc etc. They did not disclose that there was a penalty in the contract for cancellation. They were here no more than 20 minutes. They practically ran around the house with a spray can and disappeared.

My contract was for one year and ended at the end of 2024. The contract states that I must respect the first year, which I did, and that after that, the annual contract will be terminated and services will continue, but only seasonally, unless otherwise notified by the owner. Is this the cancellation service? Which has been done multiple times. Despite everything, I continue to receive services and, of course, pay the bills, despite my numerous requests to terminate the service. I no longer have a contract with them. I have sent multiple termination notices, received no response, and the technician continues to come. Update 08/13/2025 Insight Pest Solutions email me and said the contractis cancelled. Update 08/26/2025 Insight Pest Solutions email me to said "A service technician will come to your home to perform pest control service on 08/28/2025 between 9-1." They say there's no contract and they send me another technician less than two days later. And they don't even check my availability.

I'd give zero, if i could, though I suppose the customer service deserves 1 for taking all of my frustration on the phone. It's been 5 months since we started service with Insight and our roach, spider, and fly problem proceed to get worse. I saw our first ant in the house yesterday, so hopefully that doesn't become an issue too. Worst of all was the door to door salesman for Insight named Xander Hartner. He lied to us when we signed up and said we could cancel any time with no charge. My wife was there, heard him say the same thing. Asked to sign the contract saying it says the same thing he told us. Guess what? Nope, locked us into a 1 year contract and it costs $350 to cancel. So we now have a service that doesn't work from a business that lies to its customers. Bunch of con artists. Please do yourself a favor and tell anyone that comes to your door from this company to kick rocks, and find another company that doesn't lie and actually works!
