Dear Richard, We are genuinely sorry for the frustration this has caused. We never want a subscriber to feel this way, especially since we have a 30-day full refund guarantee specifically to prevent situations like this. To clarify the situation for you and others: we reached out to you as soon as we saw the dispute to explain that we could not issue a refund while a bank mediation was active. We offered to refund you immediately if the dispute was withdrawn, as this would have avoided the heavy administrative fees and legal hurdles the bank imposes on both parties. You didn't withdraw your dispute and the case went to mediation. Unfortunately, when a bank mediator rules in a company’s favor based on the evidence (such as the lack of a prior cancellation record), the funds are retained and we are hit with significant fees, making a manual refund no longer possible. We wish we could have resolved this directly with you before it reached the bank, as we would have much preferred to simply return your $99. While your subscription is cancelled, we would like to make this right in another way. Please contact us directly if you’d like to discuss a complimentary period of access to ensure you get value for the funds spent.
