Moving a segment of our Charlotte doors here to push payment fees to the applicant side was a smart budget move. Deposit returns are automated, which is great. But their internal background check engine is a massive risk. We had "clean" leads come through the software who actually had prior evictions and criminal histories when my team pulled the state court records. Plus, it won't export a clean PDF ledger, which kills my accountant's time at the end of the month. It keeps your software overhead at zero, but you absolutely have to run your own external tenant screening or you'll be buying yourself an eviction.

I spent a lot of time researching and comparing popular property management platforms before ultimately choosing Innago, and I'm so glad I did! It's easy to use and has everything I need in one place, from rent collection to lease documents and tenant management. It's made managing my rental property so much easier, and I'd definitely recommend it!

I like how Innago works very well for automating rent collection, allowing me to save a lot of time since it acts like a virtual assistant. I don't have to pursue each tenant because it sends automatic text messages, keeps track of rent collections, and tracks who has paid and who hasn't. It's really handy since I don't have to keep paperwork on hand, saving me storage space. Innago also makes leasing a property easy by allowing people to apply directly through the platform, automating background checks and providing all necessary information for approvals. This takes a lot of manual work off my hands.

Innago is a great tool to use as a landlord. There referral code payback program is a great incentive. Though, in general, it is a great one stop shop for everything about being a landlord. It'll help you write a lease if you don't have your own template. If you do have your own lease, they allow you to upload that. It provides an application that can be customized, it lists your property on multiple platforms, there are so many great features. Cons - the background check for the application does not include what's in public record. We saw many applicants that came back with a clean record on Innago, though had a criminal record we found on MD judiciary case search, along with failure to pay rent. This is a flaw that is obviously concerning as a landlord. Also, the payment processing is slow each time which isn't ideal for receiving rent payments. Though, the fact that they still allow us to document rent payments conducted outside of Innago is awesome! The messaging within the app is slow to load and has been a bit buggy. A message will be sent but the other person won't see it until you leave the screen and open it again. Even though we have faced a few issues and bugs, one important thing is how helpful Innago customer service has been. They've been patient, answered all our questions, and confirmed if our problems were resolved. We definitely recommend Innago
