Dear Customer Support Team, I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the Uconnect 5 system and the additional hardware I purchased based on your recommendations. After installing the Geniemax unit this weekend and reprogramming the BCM using AlphaOBD and JScan via my OBDLinkMX+, the single-zone ATC setting continues to cause the on-screen HVAC controls to disappear. Furthermore, the heater is completely non-functional. The only way to restore the on-screen controls is to unplug the cabin temperature sensor and run the system in Single Zone MTC, or leave it connected in Dual Zone ATC; however, neither option operates the temperature actuator door. Additionally, there have been several issues with the order fulfillment: 1.  The original kit was supposed to include the Geniemax to retain heated seat and steering wheel functionality, but the ENZO unit was sent instead. 2.  After purchasing the standalone Geniemax to resolve the HVAC issues, the necessary rear wiring harness for the heated seats and steering wheel was omitted from the package. Given that the Uconnect 5 system appears incompatible with the 4th Gen network architecture, these persistent issues are unacceptable. Please provide a resolution for these technical and hardware issues at no additional cost. If a viable solution cannot be provided promptly, I will be removing the equipment and seeking a legal remedy. I look forward to your immediate response. Also, Dan, Mike Grim and M2 Mods is very disappointed to hear about these issues. He is an honest man, and is likely to issue warnings to be careful with infotainment to future customers. Though he did mention that he had heard them before and thought you had addressed them.

Paid over $500 for a shifter that started throwing body codes for the shifter interlock and then would not fold down when I press the button. Emailed back and forth for a day or two and got told my ticket was being worked on and then got nothing for two weeks. Tried calling and was told no one is available in that department and took my info and was told I would get a ball back.....nothing. Emails are being ignored and can't ever speak to someone that can help me. Avoid buying here

I called to make sure the product would meet my needs, ie connect to the factory wiring harness. I was told it would. When it arrived, it didn't. It was only made to be wired through the entire truck as a stand alone product. I tried to get the "easy return form", but it does not exist. I contacted support via email. This was long and drawn out with vague replies. Finally they said they would issue a RMA, but because the product was "technically functional" they would not pay return shipping and would charge a 15% restocking fee. Not dealing with them again. DO NOT buy from this company. They will not call you back or return emails. We requested a refund for a defective part--no response. You will not get your money back on anything you order!

I am writing this review to help someone save their time and money. Bought a ram cluster from them and it is advertised as plug and play. I was out of town for a while and didn’t get around to it until after 6 months and the features would not work. The person installing the cluster was thorough and called the customer service line while he was installing the cluster. Every step was taken but because appearantly there is a 6 month warranty that they don’t have listed on the site now the only thing to do is buy a new cluster and lose all that money. Have been trying to speak to customer service and they don’t call back and through email it’s a bunch of nonsense that is unacceptable.

By far the worst customer service....Purchased a backup camera in October 2023, had some issues that started outside of infotainment's 90 day warranty. I called them and they referred me to the maufacturer (Brandmotion) who informed me that the unit comes with a manufacturers 2 year warranty. After many phone conversations, Infotainment then issued me a return label in July of 24. I followed the advice of their techs and got the unti going so I did not return it. Fast forward to July of 2025 and the unit is totally dead, but still within the 2 year manufactureres warranty. Called infortinament and they won't honor the two year warranty. The claimed that their purchse order for the units from Brandmotion was dated in 2021, so my unit is out of warranty. What a joke...my manufactuerers warranty started two years before I bought the unit?!?! Did you sell me a unit that was already ooutside of the warranty and not tell me? How does my warranty start before I even own a product? No follow up from a manager after two requests. If you need some of the products that infortainment sells, buy direct from bandmototion.com and crutchfield.com. Significantly cheaper, better customer service and pretty much the same products.
