I agree with pretty much most of what I read, while wondering how to execute it in limited space. A challenge and a welcome one. In short, it's more than an academic verdict on a script's worth, designed to improve writing talent. It's a full-on assessment of a project's impact and potential to engage with an audience. This course ticks all the right boxes if you are interested in taking up script reading or indeed want to equip yourself with a deeper insight into script development and screenwriting. The course is very informative, the instructor interacted very well with the class which was refreshing due to the intensity of the course. There is a lot of information to process which is supported by a large amount of documentation you are given to take home.

This course offers a great, if intensive, insight into the industry, useful for budding Script Readers and aspiring Script Writers alike. There was a lot of information packed into one day but the tutor was approachable and happy to answer questions, both during and immediately after the session. I particularly liked the advice on how and where to find Script Reading jobs. As someone keen to find out the requirements behind building a career in development, I found it equally inspiring and intimidating. Homework to self: watch even more TV and films!
