About Image Tours

Roelof Postmaa, Sr., an educator in The Netherlands, founded Image Tours in 1939 in Amsterdam. He began taking his students and their parents on trips as a hobby. Recognizing people’s need for guidance in planning their travels, Mr. Postmaa developed a successful business hosting tours throughout Europe. He firmly believed that travel broadens one’s horizon and enriches one’s mind.Mr. Postmaa’s son, Roelof Jr., began assisting his father in the family business while still in high school. Roelof Jr. opened an office in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1960 and began offering the company’s signature HEART OF EUROPE ® tour to groups such as fraternal organizations, employee associations, churches, school choirs, orchestras, and marching bands.In 1986, the company began partnering with travel agencies to offer their escorted Europe tours to the general public, thereby becoming firmly established throughout the United States. Today, Image Tours is led by Monique Kasmauskis, the daughter of Roelof Jr., and her husband, Mike. They, along with all the Image Tours associates, are dedicated to providing Superior Value with a Personal Touch. Thanks to this dedication, Image is often praised by both travelers and travel agents for courteous service, meticulous traveler preparation, and flawless execution of its tours. Our HEART OF EUROPE ® tour has endured since 1960, and has been enjoyed by thousands of first-time travelers to Europe. Well organized, modern transportation, comfortable lodging, fantastic tour guides and drivers. They made you feel you were traveling with family.

A very enjoyable experience!
We did the Heart of Europe Circle Tour. A great way to see a lot of Europe. Hotel accommodations were very nice! Our guide was very knowledgeable and experienced. He worked hard to make sure the trip was wonderful, and our driver was great also. Bus seats are on the small side. I know there is a lot of mileage to cover each day and staying on schedule is important..but for older travelers, restroom breaks should be no more than 1 1/2 hrs apart..especially in the morning after breakfast! Overall- a great trip.! !

Europe Tours w/Image
Image Tours offers outstanding tours and prices. The itinerary is well planned and their tour managers are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and mostly enjoyable to travel with! The tours, stops, coach ride, drivers and accommodations are equally enjoyable...with minor exceptions. I've been on three and will do more and routinely recommend Image Tour. The only problem I have with Image is not responding to my paper surveys, that is not good to ignore repeat travelers when asked about the overall trip.

Heart of Europe Circle Tour
This was my 2nd time taking this same tour with Image Tours. The tour directors are always friendly, knowledgable and professional. We always meet wonderful folks and have great adventures.

No meal choices
The Heart of Europe Circle Tour was terrific. Seeing the sights in seven countries was unbelievable. The tour guide, Ger, and the bus driver, Albert were very professional. All the people on the tour were extremely friendly. The only thing I found lacking was the meals. There were no choices. Everyone got the same meal unless they had a need for special food. Since we had just done an Ireland tour where we had a choice of three appetizers, entrees, and desserts at every meal, the meals on the tour with Image Tours was a huge disappointment.
