About Image Tours

Roelof Postmaa, Sr., an educator in The Netherlands, founded Image Tours in 1939 in Amsterdam. He began taking his students and their parents on trips as a hobby. Recognizing people’s need for guidance in planning their travels, Mr. Postmaa developed a successful business hosting tours throughout Europe. He firmly believed that travel broadens one’s horizon and enriches one’s mind.Mr. Postmaa’s son, Roelof Jr., began assisting his father in the family business while still in high school. Roelof Jr. opened an office in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1960 and began offering the company’s signature HEART OF EUROPE ® tour to groups such as fraternal organizations, employee associations, churches, school choirs, orchestras, and marching bands.In 1986, the company began partnering with travel agencies to offer their escorted Europe tours to the general public, thereby becoming firmly established throughout the United States. Today, Image Tours is led by Monique Kasmauskis, the daughter of Roelof Jr., and her husband, Mike. They, along with all the Image Tours associates, are dedicated to providing Superior Value with a Personal Touch. Thanks to this dedication, Image is often praised by both travelers and travel agents for courteous service, meticulous traveler preparation, and flawless execution of its tours. Our HEART OF EUROPE ® tour has endured since 1960, and has been enjoyed by thousands of first-time travelers to Europe. Europe Circle Tour
Imagine Tours professionally organized our vacation to ensure we received the very best sightseeing tour from start to finish. Touring Europe is a must.

Scandinavia Tour
Loved touring Denmark, Norway and Sweden...amazing foods, great hotels, and lots of walking! We were not as impressed with the Baltic states. Richard Munning, our tour guide was outstanding!

Amazing Trip!
It was an amazing experience. Well planned in every way. Something for everyone. Only complaint we had was comfort of the bus bench style seat in back. We did seat rotations every day so when we were in back in was not comfortable. Thankfully, it was only one day.

Loved the tour can’t say enough about…
Loved the tour can’t say enough about it. Everything went well. We were taken very good care of. The tour manager went over and beyond to meet our needs. The bus driver was excellent also. Would love to do it again.

Just got back from my second trip with…
Just got back from my second trip with Image Tours. Had an amazing time on the Scandinavian and Baltic Tour. From beginning to end everything was taken care of with great detail. Wonderful tours in every capital city with knowledgable guides. We saw the best highlights in each country, hotels and meals were wonderful and always felt safe. Each stop also included some free time to explore on your own. Just can't say enough about this company and their fabulous guides and tours. Highly recommend this company for European tours. Can't wait to book my next tour.

Great company to travel with
Great company to travel with. lots of wonderful places to visit and great history. Some of the side excursions should have been included in the price of the trip.

We did the Heart of the British Isles
We did the Heart of the British Isles tour in May this year. It was our 2nd tour with Image. Our guide, Paola, was wonderful--knowledgeable, funny, helpful, kind. She made the whole trip seem so easy! Mark and David did an amazing job driving. The trip was a great taste, literally and figuratively, of the British Isles. Loved both the cities, the small towns, the historic sites and the countryside. We booked our own air flights and had no trouble meeting up with Paola to join the group. We loved it!

We keep coming back!
Have done 3 Image Tours and each time we feel 'why would we even consider another tour company?!' Highest marks for organization and well planned experiences, professionalism, top notch tour leaders, excellent accommodations and travel conditions!
