iHealthBrokers is an independent health insurance brokerage. We have been helping individuals, families, and small businesses find coverage since 2007, and we are licensed in all 50 states and contracted with more than 200 carriers. Here is how we are paid, because it is the first thing people ask: carriers pay us a commission, so our help costs you nothing. Your premium is set by the carrier and is the same whether you enroll through us, directly with the company, or on the Marketplace. We do not charge fees.Because we are independent, we are not steering you toward one company's plan. On a typical call we ask what you actually need, confirm your doctors and prescriptions are covered before you enroll, walk through the real tradeoffs between plans, and handle the paperwork. We work with ACA Marketplace plans and subsidy eligibility, individual and family coverage, options after losing employer coverage, self-employed and 1099 coverage, dental and vision, small group benefits, and every line of Medicare including Supplement, Advantage, and Part D.We are also here after you enroll. Questions about a bill, an ID card, a claim, or a plan change go to the same team that set you up.Phone, video, and in-office appointments. Se habla español.

Great job by the team.

Jimmie is great, seems to know about all the plans. He streamlines the process of signing up. In retrospect, I wish we had gone over other plans' main differences, but that is on me for not asking.

We were happy with the recommended plans. There was a bit of confusion on some of the details that took some follow-up questions. But, ultimately we were happy with the advice received.

I was with iHealthBrokers before the ACA. I appreciated my Brokers to help navigate from my first inquiry with a decent plan that was somewhat stable during the implementation of the ACA, to now when it finally became highly affected, and I had no choice but to abandon it. Throughout the years they alerted me of changes and guided me on what to know, and my options. If I forgot to respond, they kept checking in so I didn't miss deadlines. The ACA is the most horrible thing that has ever been forced on America. If you're an independent contractor such as I am, you are a sacrificial lamb. $600-$1000 a month are absolutely disgusting options to be presented to a single person, especially if they are healthy. I.C.s have no company or organization to join to reduce costs as W-2 people have for example. The ACA is extorsion. AKA- crime. To help whom? Not us. The Trump administration's goals have been to open insurance selling across state lines to bring in competition. It is vital to alieve us of this nightmare of forced-choice. Corrupt Congress fought it because of hurt feelings and hatred of the President. (McCain legacy) They all aren't subject to the ACA however. Did you know that? They exempted themselves, and their staff in the beginning. What does that tell you? Luckily, this time (if making less is luck), I qualify for the subsidy which is still barely affordable at $320 a month. However, if I make more next year and don't qualify for help, I'll have to go without insurance. A small bump in income to put me over still would result in $7200 in payments, and I BARELY even go to the doctor! (Catastrophic is just as expensive and short term.) Thank you to those who are covering my inability to pay the full charge during this period. It's not lost on me whatsoever. P.S. Health Insurance coverage is NOT health care. The misuse of the terms is the lie they perpetrate on us. (I did not give 5 stars because even though I will use iHBs again, like all business attached to the ACA, their services and products are not by way of a free market)
