hyperx cloud 3 shittest headphones ive ever used in my career, never buy them

Complete garbage. Massive regret buying my headset. It glitches and makes horrible sounds. They also sound horrible for a modern product.

I bought a cloud 3 as a replacement headset but didn't open it for over a year, now that the dongle has failed after 8 months of use I am being told they offer no replacements and to go kick rocks. This might be the worst customer service I have ever been given. The rep Jeff Tran was super robotic. I am sure he was just spamming me with macros. Great job HyperX, you just lost a lifetime customer.

Who gets the bright idea that the power "on/off" button should be hold for like 7-10 seconds. Cheap crap.

Their tech support and products suck I recently bought HyperX Alpha Cloud 2 Out of the box, the dongle/dock what ever they want to call it does not work. Turning the knob mutes and unmutes mic constantly without ever touching the button and sometimes belive me or not I can just blow on it and it will start to freak out. I now after couple of months the 3.5mm jack does not give out sound, mind you I didn't break it cause I'm legit pluging it in for the first time by that method(And yes I'm using the cable that they provided and tried both front panel ports and motherboard port) Tried contacting them about first issue on all possible platforms (Support page, Reddit, Discord) as soon as they arrived and I got now help at all from them... Was told by the store that I bought that I can send it in for check up but I know that will take weeks to get fixed and in the end I will just not get my headset back and only get refunded. To make the long story short, avoid these compleatly they are jerks that suck both in hardware and software... This is my first experience with HyperX and my last.

The software is trash. Doesn't work at all, or keep settings for the mouse and keyboard. Plus, absolutely no company support.

HyperX made the best headset ever, in 2015. The hyperX cloud II. Even today 2026 that model is better than 90% of the market. How ever, hyperX have officialy lost it. Every product they have made after cloud II is so bad in the soundprofile its it useless.. in fps games u cant here the footsteps. In iracing u cant here tires scrubbin, it sounds like u are under water. (Ive tested wireless and cord) hyperX say its their new better Dual speakers. But it is dog shit… After 4 set of cloud II and 2 returned cloud III, ill be going someware els.. For anyone with similar issuse, i Can confirm the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 PRO Gaming Headset have the sound we lookin for.. So Congrats hyperX u made a shit Line of products so now i happily go spent 4x the money on another brand..
