Do NOT bank with them and if you decide to, do NOT ever need to change your # cause they will legit tell you they can't help you cause they can't "verify" you. I changed my number 1 MONTH ago and then had an issue with my debit card and called and they literally told me they couldn't do anything for me cause my number recently changed and they couldn't verify me even though the automated system found my acct with my new number, huntington called me on my new number, and they asked for all my info fob, ssn, address and still said they couldn't help me. Now MY money is being held hostage cause I have no debit card to use. Oh and the branch ppl will tell you they can't help and will refer you back to calling in. I have the phone call recordings. This bank is a joke and a hassle and I can guarantee you will have at least one issue with them.

Horrible. I opened a Huntington bank account and the only reason I kept it open was to use the early pay feature. All the sudden my bank account will say I have an amount in there and then change 30s later. When I call the bank they explain the transaction I know what the transactions are cause I made them and I see them. But I didn’t have this problem before. A transition is made the balance changes. Now it’s taking days for it to charge. And the the online banking doesn’t work anymore it’s all the app that’s says it’s under scheduled maintenance every Dagon day! I work nights and when I have free time I check my account….but I can’t many nights cause it’s messed up. It’s so annoying. Definitely looking for another bank, or I’ll go back to the way I use to and start transferring my money out as soon as I get paid!

Huntington used to have excellent customer service. I've been banking with them for 9 years and the issues I am experiencing is such a turn off. 1. I deposited a payroll check written to me, into my checking account with a live bank teller. This teller put the money I to another account causing me a lot of issues. 2. I deposited a payroll bonus check written to me with a telling into my checking account, this teller put it into one of my co workers accounts, then sent me a written explanation with all of my coworkers information on it in the mail. Mind you we both have two totally different names, there is no relationship in our checking accounts and we each has recieved a bonus check but it was two seperate check numbers on each of our bonus checks. This caused us to have locked accounts, overdraft fees for 2 weeks. This was totally unacceptable banking practices. 3. I go to inside a Hunting bank and the customer service is so getto and rude. I waited for 30 min in line and still did not get my banking needs met. 4. I call customer service asking can I exchange money because I'm traveling to Europe. I'm told. "Sure go to any bank they have money on hand and will charge you $8 to exchange money up to $20,000." This is not true. I go into the bank today and am told, " oh NO, it takes up to 4 weeks because we have to order it. We dont have different currency in our bank laying around." I am leaveing the day after tomorrow. This will be a huge inconvenience for me. 5. When I've spoken to online customer service the way they speak to customers is just so rude. I felt as if I was being rushed and not heard. I keep getting the wrong information and huge errors keep happening on my account. I AM OVER HUNTINGTON BANK. get professional employees who appreciate your customers. Train them on how to properly do their jobs and treat you customers like they matter. Don't make life harder for customers as you have me. So long Huntington your banking practices are appalling.

Worse bank ever held my inheritance for a month because of suspected fraud even after taking court documents into the branch to prove that the money was mine. Called every day for a month spoke to 100 different people!! One teller laughed in my face like you are not getting this money… wrote a complaint with IDFPR and received a call the next day and money was released! Should have filed a complaint weeks ago!!! Worse bank ever do not put your money is this bank!!!!!!!

This has become the worst bank in columbus vicinity. Told they won't speak to you without an appointment, make one and now given lame excuse for why you can't be seen, poor service all around from 2 locations, and they really don't care

Absolutely terrible bank to work with---and I used to work at one! I'm only 24 yrs old and I feel like an old crabby person writing this review, but seriously! EVERY month since I have had my car loan with them (6), I have had issues. I set up my loan on auto-pay. It's easy and I don't have to worry about it, right? Wrong. Three of the six months, I got charged twice (over $800)--their solution was to mail me a check for the refund of one month. Ok, thanks, that will be awhile, but it's a solution. Doesn't matter, it's fine. Customer service (CS) was nice but didn't have a solution as to why I got charged twice. Just mailed me a check. Next two months--my scheduled payment doesn't pull. Why? CS has no idea. But now I'm late on my payment. They tell me to enter it manually. Fine. I'm irritated but it's whatever. They had no answers for me. THEN TODAY. My payment didn't pull yesterday even though I quadruple checked it would pull. I get an email saying it was late. I call this morning, CS can't help so they tell me call back in 5 minutes. Ok? I call back--"oh this is the mortgage dept, let me transfer you". Ok? Now I'm just frustrated. I finally get to talk to someone--I explain my situation, that I just want to know why this is happening, I'm to the point of tears due to my frustration, and CS goes "it says you have no pending payments. you can manually make one today. I don't know what else to tell you." OK. I kept my cool, I was kind, I did not yell at or berate a CSR at anytime, I just wanted answers....I think my answer is to go refinance with another bank. So upset!!!!!

Was waiting for a representative for almost 30 mins, then finally reached Jennifer but she disconnected the call. Will again wait for hours to reach another representative.
