Because of my family business and my parents being elderly, I have accounts at approximately 11 different banks nationwide including two in NE Ohio. I can say that Huntington provides THE VERY BEST customer service and NO HIDDEN fees or low fees on checking accounts. And when I've called customer service, I have ALWAYS gotten the assistance I've needed. Only wish I could consolidate all my banking to Huntington..if they expand to my main area of business in DC, I will, no doubt about it. Btw, I never rated any other bank I'm using as I've been dissatisfied with their services more than once.

I have the asterisk-free checking account and it's a relief to not have to pay unnecessary service fees or to have a specific amount in my account. There's absolutely no minimum balance requirement and no hidden fees, just banking done right. I have other checking accounts that charge fees for the same thing that my Huntington account does so I might be dropping those shortly and just going solely with this one. Really good banking system.

I've lived in Arizona before and kept my huntington account. I opened a local account with Washington Mutual and two days it got hacked into. Three different ACH payments for car payments and ect. I never delt with that at huntington and no hidden fees is a big deal for me.
