Huntington is not the bank to have an account with they marked my bank card for “ fraudulent activity “ which then I had to call the customer service number to approve those transactions as they were not indeed fraud after hours of going back and fourth with customer service I was then told I had to enter a branch in order to fix my account so I didn’t have access to my amount until 24 hours later I went to a branch got it unlocked finally the lady told me it would be back to normal in 15 minutes mind you I didn’t try to use it until hours later where it then again flagged my account .. which promoted me to have to call again to see and they told me I had to go verify my transactions again which is bull because I don’t get the change to even use it so now here I am again not having access to my money I’m honestly disappointed I’ve banked with Huntington for years with no issues until now I will no longer be baking with them .

This bank closed my account for no reason with over 5,000 dollars in my account!!! Please dont bank with them !they will steal your money!

Website provides no real info, no documents, chat is AI only. Everytime I call for help I average a wait time of 25-30 minutes. My insuranced company called for a car loan totalling and it took 30 days to get one document so I continued to pay interest on a loan where car was totalled. They claimed they faxed it and refused to fax to a diff number and offered email after I asked what other resolutions there are. But again my agent had to call each time to request a document to be resent. So glad my time w/ them is over and I would not recommend Huntington bank. I'd take a higher rate to go to a diff lender.

This bank is refusing to close my account after taking over 200 from me and me paying it back I’m starting a lawsuit if my account is not closed immediately

So around the holidays being a Huntington customer I was cashing a check from a Huntington custome after they told me if I deposit it into my account it would not be available for a couple days. No I need it because it was three days until christmas. So she encouraged me to cash it and then deposit it. So I left to go shopping with debit card and went to check out $560.00 worth of things to find out my card declined. So embarrassed- worried then became frustrated 0-210 as soon as I checked my online banking! I called and they said someone from the bank put a hold on my cash! (They heard every word at the moment I e ever used in my vocabulary- if you know what I mean) I was not nice I was PISSED! Well ok so today I went and done the same thing. But I only leave $200 in there this time. Well thinking ooh that was a one time- surely they don’t do that dumb shit all the time! Like who puts a hold on cash? Duh…. Dumbasses…. Huntington Bank sure does! Cause it happened again! So for now on I will only go and cash my checks! F this place! I will continue my account at KEYBANK! Hell I can go put cash in the atm and use it instantly! So I STRONGLY SUGGEST- ANOTHER BANK but here! Very pissed off and over it soon to be ex- customer! Use the bank on 86th and Zionsville Rd! Indianapolis In I MEAN WHO THE HELL HOLDS CASH?? The check cleared to be cashed- remember you run it through you check checker! TF you hand me cash and I hand it back to deposit! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

NOT HAPPY AT ALL I am not sure what has happened to the bank I use to think highly of but now present day this is the WORST they don't deserve even 1 star I been waiting for a check deposit to clear for over a week its not even a huge amount and nothing in the stated policy on checks has been honored ,I am opted in for transactions to go through but they never allow there are sooo many things I could say about the poor service and treatment I was told they had no onto verify my funds no one speaks clear English any more ! I hate this bank that it doesn't work for me

I'd give them a 0 if I could. Worst customer service ever. I deposited a check drawn on another major bank and they put a hold on it for over a week with no explanation. Told me the hold might be released after 7 days but then it would take another 3-4 business days to process it through the Federal Reserve. Strange because when I write a check to a business or person, it clears in 1 or 2 days. Asked to be transferred to a supervisor and had to wait for an hour to speak to someone. Was told they don't have to tell the customer why holds are placed and to be patient. Then put me on hold for another 30 minutes. Ugh!!!!!

This is the only company I have ever had difficulty with for an auto loan. It seems all of my payment dates are falling on holidays or weekends. I generally pay my payments 6 days or more in advance of the due date. Sometimes life is busy and my calendar alerts me two days before it’s due. I do not keep up with the many government holidays I do not have a bankers hours job. My payment is then late because they don’t accept payments on weekends or holidays. If that’s the case, they need to adjust your payment date each month. I am so thankful I got pre approved through another company to get rid of this awful loan!
