Absolute nightmare!!! Deposited a check that still hasn’t cleared a week later…debit cards didn’t work and over an hour to finally get on the line with someone who I couldn’t understand and they couldn’t understand me…still no resolution

I made the mistake of using this bank for my auto loan. What a nightmare! Customer service is awful. Ive been trying to pay my car note for 3 days. Theres nobody that can help me. No account number has been provided. The "customer service" department is Absolutely useless. Ive never had a harder time trying to pay a debt. Absolutely terrible customer service. Im about to refinance just so I can get away from this company!

Extremely disappointed with Huntington Bank's customer service. I obtained a certified cashier's check from my account to pay off a vehicle loan, and when the receiving credit union needed the funds verified, Huntington was nearly impossible to reach. For more than four days, both I and the credit union repeatedly tried to contact Huntington. I spent hours on hold, was transferred multiple times, and had calls disconnected. On one occasion, I was told I was being transferred to someone who could help, only to be sent to a line that said call volume was too high. This should have been a simple process, but instead it became a frustrating ordeal that delayed my vehicle payoff. As a customer who has maintained significant funds with Huntington, I expected much better service. The lack of responsiveness and poor customer support was unacceptable.

The way that Huntington Bank has handled the purchase of Cadance Bank is any BUT customer freindly. I have moved my account to a new bank that has customer service first. Having to change all account numbers, routing numbers and debit card is crazy. Good bye and I am sure I am not the only one dumping this bank. Been with Bancorpsouth and Candance for 20 years.

Horrific customer service. My wife has tried repeatedly to close her IRA. Calls cut off, they are rude or completely lost on how to help. Perhaps the worse I've ever seen. Still hasn't resolved the issue despite several phone expensive calls as we live abroad.

I never used it so it had a available credit balance. The Bank allowed someone in another state to open a business account using my name. This had an LLC I've never heard of appear as a profile in my online and banking app. It appears their intent was to quietly transfer money out of my personal credit line over to their fake business. After investigating further it appears the fraudster didn't have my social or other personal information so my guess is the training and on boarding and opening of new account processing is so erratic that they created this problem with their own incompetence. They couldn't even associate who the real person was that opened the fake business account. After two months this fake profile still exists in the mobile banking app so I finally just gave up and closed my account. The interaction with the branch was all over the place with obvious lack of standards and even basic understanding of how to do anything. The staff in the branch are all very young, and inexperienced. Fortunately I was not relying on my accounts there for actual day-to-day servicing or this could've been much worse. This is the first Bank I've ever experienced where I literally don't trust them with my money.

Your customer service is the worst, they literally put me on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on me. That experience was horrible and I WILL NOT STOP LEAVING REVIEWS ABOUT THAT EXPERIENCE ON WHATEVER SITE I RUN ACROSS. You don’t have ATM’s outside your building so when the bank closes, I’m out of luck for getting cash.“ Who in the world wants to deal with a bank with those issues when there are SO MANY OTHER BANKS that are way better. I mean honestly, their customer service made me wait and then hung up in my face. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY. I only signed up for the $400 promotion. I will not be banking with them afterwards EVER AGAIN

Bank is awful. They recently acquired another bank and now you can’t get through on the phone or online to make a mortgage payment. Super disappointing. Also use offshore customer service so not easy to deal with
