Great experience
It's been less than a year since we switched over to Human Interest, and it's been a great experience so far. I love how seamless the experience is and the customer team has been very responsive.

Only reason giving 1 star is because wouldn't let me do zero ever since my company changed to Human interest have done nothing but loss money and customer service sucks.

money was automatically taken out against my will with no notice at a default amount that I did not want. I was enrolled by my employer without permission

This is a terribly mis-managed company that will lead to headaches for you as the business owner, and the employees that you are sponsoring. DO NOT USE THEM. I left my previous employer back in March of last year, and rolled my Human Interest 401k into a Roth IRA. They messed up my 1099-R and have since spent 6 weeks dragging their feet correcting it. This company will cause headaches for you, your employees, and everyone around you once you find out how long you will have to be on the phone with them. Their processing department is seemingly disconnected to the rest of the company, so when you need to have something fixed you first have to call customer service, who will tell you that they know nothing about your issue. Then you'll call the processing department who seemingly has no idea that they're job is important and that they need to FIX THE MISTAKES THAT THEY CREATED. Do not fall victim to their flashy buzzword-filled sales pitch. This company is horrible. Spend more. Go elsewhere. Save yourself time and headaches. That's the entire reason you pay a company to provide sponsored investment services.

Easy to utilize. Retirement can be complicated and I appreciated their straightforward interface and the care taken to provide explanatory videos.

Such a waste of time. They are all sales and no substance. I had my company on the plan - they did not follow through on their terms, they charged me for employees that were not enrolled and then tried to claim that was always the deal - IT WAS NOT! They enrolled my employees without consent, and when tirelessly requesting documents in Spanish - and being told I would receive to disperse to my team - they told me they didn't have and to engage a translator. Totally pathetic.

Like a lot of companies, their sales promises the world but the follow through isn't very good. We set up a 401k with them and found that they were providing a match to employees who didn't qualify for the company match. Our account representative took less than a second to look into things and spent more time writing us an email telling us that everything was as it should be. After some time, we were able to get her to see that the match was indeed not working correctly and that others weren't fully vested when they should be. Several days with their compliance team and they acknowledged the problem. But, all the money that they took from us can't be given back so it stays in our forfeiture account. Also, they said that their compliance team advised that they did not need to let our employees know of their mistake that some employees were given money that would now need to be taken back. Additionally, they said that they didn't have enough information on employees to distribute the benefits. Keep in mind that we are several months into this and NOW they are telling us that they don't have proper information. Low accountability, lots of problems.
