This is a fraudulent company. Completely misleading
I am completely shocked that anyone is giving this company more that one star. I’m convinced all positive blogs and reviews were written by those working for the company. They are a fraudulent company scamming people with false advertisement, misleading statement, and contacts made from overly priced poor quality materials that actual optometrists won’t advise you put on your eyes as they reduce the amount of oxygen that your eyes can receive throughout the day, which explains why reputable and legitimate companies stopped using them decades ago. They say on their website that people with mild astigmatism of -1 or less can use their contacts without trouble, which is completely erroneous. The lenses are of such poor quality that they can’t be used by people with even mild astigmatism. This company is purposefully misleading people in order to sell their extremely overpriced and uncomfortable products. And even when you return their products, they will still profit off of you by charging a “restocking fee” because apparently it costs $5 to open a box marked “return to sender,” take out the unopened boxes, and walk all the way over to where the shelves are at. In essence, this company has insured that WHEN they scam people with astigmatism into buying their contacts they know they can’t use, they will still profit of them returning the contacts aside from being able to resell them to the next victim. Cancelling a subscription is a nightmare. I cancelled at the end of May 2018, and never received any part of my refund until I emailed them 3 months laterto complain about not having received it. A legitimate company doesn’t withhold a refund from unsatisfied customers. I have no doubt that they don’t refund cancellations unless they feel they have to. I’ve worn various brands of contacts for the past 20 years, and Hubble contacts are by far the most uncomfortable I have ever worn. Several times the contacts were so warped that they hurt my eyes and wouldn’t lay properly so I had to waste new contacts to get to a contact that didn’t hurt my eye once in. Extremely poor quality considering that the exact measurements of a person’s iris are a part of the prescription. When I consulted with my doctor about these lenses he informed me of how poor quality they are and that it was unlikely they would fit well because of the cheap material they are made of. Furthermore, he informed me that you CAN’T use non-astigmatism contacts for people with astigmatism. And my further researched confirmed that optomistrists don’t recommend these contacts at all. Their customer service is non-existent. They are over the top childish, rude and patronizing and continue to stand by their brand with more false and misleading statements. I have never had a “customer service” rep speak to me with so much audacity by making asinine statements claiming to know more than actual optometrists about eye health and contact lenses. I requested that they cease and desist in communication with me and not contact me further. They promptly replied with more false statements claiming that doctors are prescribing their contacts to their patients. I cannot imagine that any doctor that takes the Hippocratic oath seriously would ever be so harmful to their patients as to actually prescribe them. But, then again, when a company truly is fraudulent, con artists will say whatever they want to continue profiting off their scam. Don’t waste your time or money. You only get two eyes. Don’t put them in harms way with this grossly overpriced cheap product.
