We’ve been using Housecall Pro for about a year and a half now. Overall, the experience has been awesome, but we’ve had issues with our calendar properly displaying jobs that are scheduled over night. This problem has been persisting for almost the entire time we’ve been using the software. The only solution that has been suggested is to create multiple job segments for our overnight jobs, but many of our jobs are overnight and this would add more work when the software is supposed to minimize this type of work. There is no timeline, other solution, discount, or service that has been offered to remedy this. Aside from this poor customer service, the software is great.

This rating is NOT based on my customer service experience. Rather, it is in reference to the lack of marketing tools currently offered on Housecall Pro. We have to use a third-party to send our monthly mailers & 6 month reminders due to the fact that Housecall Pro does not have a system in which it can send these for our customers automatically. We left Service Monster in Jan, 2021 and came to Housecall Pro, but I can tell you this, Service Monster's marketing programs far exceed Housecall Pro's. Hopefully, some time in the near future Housecall Pro can improve upon it's marketing programs.

Hasn't improved software issues. Example sales tax changes constantly . Call me for more examples

The fact that you have to make an appointment to speak with someone is beyond frustrating. Also, there are many features that are missing and could be improved. I recently asked where to find a place to mark a customer "tax exempt" and I was told that I can't. I just need to remember each time. Another thing is how things disappear as you enter them, as if they're trying to load but don't actually load all the way. The connection between housecall and quickbooks, leaves a lot to be desired. I'm finding many issues that all lead back to the way that my customer list was imported from quickbooks. I waste a lot of time trying to correct everything. Sometimes I can't process a payment and it takes hours to try to figure out what's going on and I hesitate to talk to the chat "bubble" because that's just even more frustrating when you're trying to troubleshoot.

Field edge/ coolfront had most of my OEM part numbers, I hardly can find one in Profit Rhino. Coolfront would give me a breakdown of the task item like labor time and part cost. The info on PR isn't as clear. Freon pricing updates have not been done, although we were told they would be updated. HSP should integrate with the basic Coolfront pricing platform. I like the HSP PLATFORM but pairing it with PR has not made my life easier.

As easy as it is to navigate most times. At least a third of the time we experience glitching, frozen screens where we are unable to take payment. But the main reason for the lie review is the fact that this system should be linking to our social media as well as QuickBooks in order to receive our customer reviews on all platforms and keep track of our daily/weekly/monthly numbers but has never done so which means our customers but more importantly potential new customers are not able to see any of these reviews our current customers are leaving on Housecall unless they physically go into Yelp/fb/IG/etc themselves.

The website works great and is easy to use, but the Android app is slow and has many glitches. The messaging in the app is the worst. It's not accessible from the website, and it is horribly slow in the app. 0 stars for messaging. Then, we received a call from their representative offering a promotion - free instant transfers. We process payment through Housecall Pro, and they take the percentage of every transaction, which is the case for all payment processing apps. Accumulated funds then get deposited to our bank account in 2-3 days. Instant transfer sends the money to our account right away, with no wait time. Usually, Housecall pro charges an extra 1% for that, and the promotion is for you to try and experience the instant transfer for free for 2 weeks. Their representative called me to offer that promotion, and I said yes. The next day I received a text from the same representative stating that our company is ineligible for the promotion because we already had it last year. I am unhappy about two things: 1. The representative could have checked if my company is eligible before calling me and wasting my highly valuable time on empty phone conversations. 2. Even if I already had the promotion last year, what kind of customer service is it to offer something and then say you can't have it? Our company brings Housecall pro thousands of dollars each month. My conclusion is, they don't value their customers and don't respect them.
