Housecall ProReviews of housecallpro.com

Stay away from this amateur platform there aren’t enough tools to help the business grow. It is just a basic platform with a fancy name. There is nothing fancy to it.

Do not use this company. Horrible software and they keep calling to ask if I can jump on a quick 20 mins presentation. I have asked this company over and overto stop calling me. I told they we canceled their service because it was horrible software and we will never use it again. Welp...they just called back. When I hung up they continued to call back. In response to your reply- Yes, I am now on the Do Not Call List. That happened after I spoke with Housecall Pro yesterday and threatened to use my daughters 2 million social media following to let folks know that I keep getting these calls and I have asked your company many times to add me to the Do Not Call list. It wasnt until yesterday when I told Housecall Pro that I would make it my job to leave my review everywhere that I could that you guys said you would add me to the list. Im sick of getting calls during my work day, having to stop right in the middle of a project to answer the phone and hear you guys tell me that the owner of my company asked you guys to call me so that I can sit through a 20 min presentation. Thats a flat out lie.

As you can tell from the other one-star reviews, any attempts to try to cancel your account will fail. They'll tie you up in false bureaucracy with some third party outfit until the end of time.

SPAMMING us to work with them at least 4 times a month because they are so desperate because the companies do not like working with them.

I wouldn’t recommend this garbage ! I charged a customer for a deposit of $11,900.00 that’s a lot of money and the charges got rejected and they couldn’t do anything about it. Don’t use this program, it’s only a headache.

I called and started the free trial and after 2 weeks I called and said it would not work for my company. Then a month later I was billed 182.00. I called again to cancel and have them credit me as I never used it besides the free trial. The next month they charged me again. I called and kept telling them I never used it to credit me 2 months now. I have called 10 times and left messages and no one calls me back.

We have asked to be taken off the calling list NUMEROUS times now, every time.. they play like they can't hear me. ABSURD horrible disrespectful company.

We spent a few months switching over to Housecall Pro. Integrating into our accounting software, training our technicians, and developing our pipelines. Suddenly, and without warning, they shut off our ability to accept payments via credit card or ACH. They offer no reason for the sudden decision. We've had NO complaints from clients or problems with our banking system at all. The internal review was started from a single down payment from a client that was quite large, but not atypical for our company. HCP asked me vague questions about the schedule for the project, but did not communicate the severity of the review or what might happen. We answered the questions honestly, but it was apparently insufficient for them and we crossed an arbitrary invisible line. They relayed the news to us not via email or phone call, but by sending a reply to a chat message that was easily overlooked for half a day. Such pathetic communication over a sudden dramatic decision is unacceptable. We are now scrambling to solve the payment issues as many of our clients' attempts to pay have failed. Housecall Pro offers pathetic apologies but no explanations or solutions. Their discussions with us have been contradictory and unhelpful. They did offer to review the case for our company in 6 months. Although since we will never know what invisible line we crossed, we have no way of knowing if we'd pass the review next time. If you want to run a business that accepts payments DO NOT USE HOUSE CALL PRO! ***Edit to reply*** The customer service did not "help" me. They only told me that I'm SOL and there's nothing they can do. I've found other businesses that are in the same pickle with your company and the payment processor you've chosen to work with. No explanation, no guidance, no solution.
