I am curious about HCP and whether it is worth switching from QB. After seeing reviews, a lot of the 5 star reviews are meant for the company who performed the work, not HCP. I also noticed HCP take the reviews and run with it like it's meant for them, which is a red flag! Also, I wanted to know pricing without a "DEMO" or giving my email for spamming. Lost me

They used to be pretty good and we're willing to work with you and the most important thing was they didn't deny you access to your data that you created even if you stopped using the services. They just didn't let you create more which is understandable. They have now changed it to denying you any access to your data which then can leave you in a position not knowing any of your log hours or invoice information to be able to get paid by your customer until they decide to get back to you. If I knew this previously I would have never gone with them because companies like this aren't reliable and when they mess up it can end up putting your company in jeopardy.

This company is slimy and provides inadequate software. The app has glitches constantly, customer service is hit or miss, though sometimes great. The mobile app is very limited and not ideal for a busy contractor. It is slow, the calendar can barely tell you much. Nothing is customizable with the interface. The invoicing is very confusing and has glitches, which is a major problem when a customer gets 5 late payment requests after they've paid... thinking we're trying to take advantage of them or something... There are no batch actions with jobs or estimates. The transition into the software was painful, and took hours and hours.

Canceling my membership with Housecall Pro was an absolute nightmare. Their website makes it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel online - seriously, what is that all about? They also held my payment card hostage and would not let me delete it from my Account. Then, when I called customer service, they wouldn't let me cancel without jumping through hoops. Did they REALLY think I wanted to waste time on a "why are you leaving call?" It felt like a sales pitch disguised as "customer service." After over 2 WEEKS of me pleading with them, they FINALLY canceled my membership. Save yourself the stress - avoid the cancellation hassle and find a company that makes it easier to leave if you're not happy!

I have had houscall Pro for years it has done well but we are switching to have a system built out for us. I want to keep the scheduling for some front facing usage, so I downgraded my plan from the 15 plus to the 8 person plan. They will not let downgrade and are making me keep the large plan no matter how many users I have. I have reached out for over a week and just keep getting kicked around in the cue. Id suggest looking around there are a ton of companies that do the same thing for less money and you can get them on the phone. Also their cc fees are ridiculous

I Ronnie Brandon started with house call pro tried to get two people financed with a unit couldn't get either approved I cancelled house call pro in May 2023 two weeks of subscribed these people had good credit I think it was because I am black and both customers were black I didn't put any money in my bank I knew this was a scam I waited two months after I called they said my subscription had been cancelled in July I finally started putting money in my bank soon as I did house call pro took out 300 dollars in the morning and another 300 in evening. When I called they said they were going to put it back in my account which they did not

Untrained employees, VA service was a joke, cancellation is even harder they confirmed a cancel then still billed us 300$

The company offered a $50 gift Card for participating in their presentation which took significantly longer than they said. The email I gave the salesman worked fine to send me the zoom link. No follow up Email or gift card as committed. Fake bait and dishonesty during sales process. Why should I expect more from the company afterwards? 12-19-2023. I have been contacted by house call Pro 1 hour ago regarding my review. I gave him a detailed response. I will update based on the results. Results: A forced technical insincere follow through ( I might receive a card in a few weeks) after being put through the gas lighting chamber , hours of time and many emails. Could have been very different but was not. you can probably expect the same. Clearly they have someone dedicated to sanitizing the internet so what you see is being manipulated. P. S. They will also record the conversation without informing you.
