Hands down the worst platform I’ve ever used for marketing. There is zero customization — you can’t remove their logo or email address from your messages, you can’t hyperlink anything at all, and every layout turns into double-spaced chaos. The editor feels like it was built in 1998. And support? Nonexistent. Was on chat for over an hour on my second person and he said he needs to step out for a 30-40 minute meeting lol! I don’t need a help article — I need 40 minutes with their developer so I can show them how a real platform should work.

The absolute worst!! The customer service is by far the worst we have ever experienced. They will do updates and make your estimates and invoices look completely different with no recourse to go back to the original format. The system glitches non-stop. We will be taking our business to Service Titan.

They continued to charge us even after we canceled our account

3 months into our on boarding, we are not on board.... we have found that their support is non existent.... they are great getting the sign up and payment.... We were told that QuickBooks data would work with Housecall pro without redundant data entry, however that has not been the case… The overall features seemed to be great, just wish our time and money resulted in any benefit- it has not. The onboarding is limited, they allocate a time limit for onboarding calls, and in our case , the onboarding rep has been on vacation, no back up support, and no response. For us, its been a huge waste of time.

Just had a rude zoom demo done. the guy in the demo acted as if i was lying to him and said things like "yeah ok sure buddy" and "i seriously dont think thats true" first i dont care enough to lie to strangers and why would i like about things what would i be gaining. also the sales rep for the demo promised me a $50 amazon gift card and still yet to receive that im not afraid to file a complaint to bbb and consumer affairs about that. 9/5/25- still have not received the amazon gift card i was promised at this point it seem like a lie so i would sit thru a demo that the dude was so rude if anything i should have gotten 2 gift cards for the rudeness of the demo guy

They have serious payment processing problems and wait times constantly. You wont get paid and they wont communicate. They force you to use a phone number that's not yours to contact clients on their app. They force you to use a 3 party company for finance not one you can choose then add it to your invoices as options so they get paid, Their is no customer service number they will provide except a slow contact that will defer you to wait for them to text you on their app. We have moved to Jobber and its been so much better. Here’s my experience after 2 years: 🚨 WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING HOUSECALL PRO (HCP) 🚨 If you’re thinking about moving to HCP — run. If you’re thinking about leaving — do it sooner rather than later. HCP will not export your historical data in a usable format. They hold it hostage and the only way to gain access is to keep paying monthly for access to your data. This is holding data for ransom. • Jobs, invoices, and estimates won’t export with historical details like discounts, price book service or materials line items. • Private job notes? Gone. • Customer records won’t include extra phone numbers, emails, additional contact names, gate codes, etc. • Scheduled jobs/estimates on your calendar will not export into a new system. I confirmed this directly with HCP. Their response? • “It’s not possible” to export full historical data. • “You can’t export estimates.” • The feature request has “been on the roadmap for quite some time” but isn’t being worked on. We pay for the top-tier package—supposedly with a personal rep to help us—and that never happened either. Now, while I’m on vacation, I have to work because HCP made getting our data a nightmare & impossible. We have thousands of jobs, estimates , & invoices we now have to manually re-enter into our new system just to have historical records. They made promises on the major reason we decided to try HCP. That was a lie & 2 years later the 1 task we requested still can’t be done by the software, there is no work around for it. & you can’t create an api or zap to automate this task. If you value your data and your time—think twice before trusting HCP with it. #housecallpro

Hi all, I'm currently trying to set up multiple locations for my two HCP accounts, but I've run into several challenges with support. Earlier today, I had a video call with Ali, who informed me he’s not the right point of contact for setting up multiple locations. Unfortunately, this seems to be part of an ongoing pattern where support feels more like a billing function than a resource for helping customers. Here’s a quick summary of what has happened so far: 1. Three weeks ago: I had a detailed call with support where I explained the challenges I was facing. The response I received made it sound like this process is very complicated, which I don’t believe is accurate. I’d even be happy to provide a free SQL training on how to update a database if needed. 2. Two weeks ago: I was scheduled for a Zoom call, but the invitation went to my spam folder. The support rep didn’t follow up or call, and I only found out after I reached out wondering why no one showed up. 3. Today: I spoke with Ali, who was helpful in his area, but not in a position to complete the actual setup. Unfortunately, this left me with no further progress, again. I genuinely like the HCP platform—it has great potential—but the support experience has been disappointing. My team is still waiting for their accounts to be properly configured, and I’m starting to feel that switching from Jobber may have been the wrong decision. Regards, Alex
