If you can deal directly with the hotel/motel, it will be a much more satisfying experience. The person with whom you deal is friendly enough but doesn't know anything at all about the area in which you wish to stay. Find a direct phone number if you can.

Due to the reservation process on the computer not appearing to go through I called the Hotel line directly to check and was told that it must not have completed successfully as there was no record or a reservation under my name or credit card. So while on the phone I booked a room for the same night. A few minutes after finishing this phone reservation I received a email confirmation indicating that the first reservation I attempted had gone through. Now I had two room booked for the same night. I called the Hotel directly and cancelled the one done online and kept the one I booked by phone. I'm concerned that there will be two charges on my Credit card for this one night and will be watching carefully. I have booked hotels frequently online and this is the first time I've experienced this problem.

Pricing was not fair.

I ordered a room w/ two beds. On our way, I noticed on the confirmation sheet it said one king. I called your 800# and was confirmed that my request was for 2 beds! Your operator wanted ME to call the hotel. I asked that she did since it was your operator made the error and I was on the road. She complied and did return my call - asking me to pay the hotel an additional $5. and send you a receipt for reimbursement. I asked her to explain why I should pay an additional amount when it was clearly YOUR error - she had no explanation! The hotel did confirm the calls but advised me they were unable to do anything because my reservation was made through you!! The hotel did also confirm that you asked her to collect $5. =tax which she could not do since this was booked through you! YOU sent her a fax addressing my request for bottom floor but failed to include my original request for two beds! Hotel thought it strange but when I asked, confirmed frequent problems w/ your site. Won't be using you again!!!

I was offered a rate and when I accepted it would no longer be available thus raising the rate four (4) times. I thought I was talking to the Holiday Inn reservations and was at not time told I was not. I have worked in call centers and would have been fired if I had acted like that and later as a manager I would have fired someone who represented our hotels the was the person who made the reservation did. As I said above this was the most unprofessional person I have ever talked too on the phone and he needs lots of training in both policy and manners.

My credit was charged right away for the full amount of the hotel reservation upon my booking by phone, but it takes 7 Working days to refund back to my credit card after my cancellation, for holding the money for such long time is not friendly.

Did not like making reservation through third party who charged credit card and we were not able to get refund because we were not satisfied with hotel.
