My experience with HotelReservations.com has been horrible. After making a change to my original reservation, I never received the email confirmation I was promised. I also had extra charges on my bill which still have yet to be explained. After calling customer service, not only could they not explain any of the charges, I was promised an email copy of the confirmation by a supervisor, who was also unable to tell me what the charges represent and was rude. When I finally received the confirmation, it was for the reservation I cancelled, not the one that was fulfilled. It also had the wrong rate on it. In addition, I was charged $9.95 as a booking fee, which was not listed on any of the confirmations I received or when I made the reservation. This is already the worst experience I've ever had in booking a hotel room, and it isn't over yet.

Thinking that your dealing with excaliber hotel direct , they mis lead you in their ads.Than they make reference to Expedia which is another cover up...FINALLY I BOOK MY HOTEL AND THEIR COMPUTER BOOKS ME AND BILLS ME TWICE, I FINALLY AFTER 3 PHONE CALLS ,I GET IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE IN THE PHILLIPINES WHO TELLS ME I SCREWED UP WHEN I BOOKED THE HOTEL.THEY FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY SCREW UP AND CREDITED BACK ONLY THE HOTEL CHARGE AND NOT THE BOOKING FEE....THAN AFTER SPEAKING TO EXCALIBER AND EXPEDIA WITH NO SUCCESS I REALLY STARTED GETTING MAD.AFTER 2 MORE HOURS OF PHONE CALLS I GOT SOMEONE TO CREDIT BACK THE BOOKING CHARGE I THINK. I STILL NEED TO CHECK MY CREDIT CARD IF THIS HAS BEEN DONE..STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I originally entered the hotel name and city where I want to stay into Safari. Hotel and rated popped up and I booked. I live in Canada and stayed at a location in Canada and had to pay US rates! I was in a hurry but I thought I was booking through Hotel....sneaky!

I made a reservation for sundestin and cancelled on May 29 at 5am. I was told by Tban that this would be cancelled and forwarded to billing dept for refund or partial refund. I was told when I made my reservation that if I cancelled day of I would owe a one night fee penalty. When I called back at 10pm may 31 to ck on refund was told by Moel that the reservations were never canceled with the hotel and they were charging full amount. When I asked to speak to supervisor, Andrea, I was hung up on 2xs. I proceeded to call sundestin resort directly and spoke with a manager within 5 min so apparently the story I was told that hotelresvations.com couldn't reach any manager at the hotel since 29th at 5am was not true. I have disputed this charge with my credit card and informed sundestin and they are working on things from their end.

Was shopping for an upscale hotel at a reasonable rate and I am completely disappointed that you charged me $12.00 to book a hotel reservation. I feel as though I have been misled because your site emulated the site for the hotel that I booked. I am actually compelled to dispute the charge but feel that the dispute would be reversed. I for one will never use Trustpilot again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone that I know for the reasons stated above

I as on the Holiday INN site and went to book a room, I did not know it switched me over to your site. When I submitted my first request, I got a server error from your site. It had me re-book my stay, which went well, no issues. When I arrived at the hotel, they informed me that I had 2 rooms book and my card was charged for both. I had to call customer support to cancel (your policy states no refunds with cancels) and try to explain what happened to your customer support rep. It took 3-4 times to explain what happened. I THINK I dod get a credit back on my card. I was told I would get an email indicating this and a refund in 3-7 days. I have yet to see an email and doubt I will get my money back without contesting it with my CC company

They are a rip off.
