Unhappy for sure
This was the worst experience ever. Had to make changes to the reservation because the were two reservations booked. Two different reservation representatives made changes and apparently booked an addtional reservation. I didn't discover this until i called the hotel to ask something about the room. When they looked it up, I was informed there were two reservations booked for the same time. I was then told the name of the two groups that booked the reservation. In order to avoid being charged twice I would have to contact one and cancel. How I got two different booking groups on the same telephone number is beyond me. It sounds like a racket.. I have booked with hilton hotels for a long time. I'll never book online because of an ad on television.

Sorry for your experience, Audrey. We certainly don't intentionally book more rooms than what is asked for. Sometimes changes require us to cancel and then re-book a room. That cancel request can take a few days to actually show up in the hotel's reservations system. HotelReservations.com TEAM
