the server went down a week ago, no notification, no responses from the company, no help in the Discord server. The AI is offline for a long time 0% help or explanation, but to be fair, their server was running flawlessly when I got it

Have the same issue reviewers Matt and Carlos had. Originally when I got the service they were good and active on their Discord channel and responded immediately. For the last two weeks I have tried their online support and have received no support from the supposed 24/7 service, it even shows the last time they were active was 11/4/2025. I also posted in their Discord channel and no response from anyone, other than those with problems, also. I can see one of their original community managers still online and playing games, but will not respond even when tagged.

Two weeks unable to get a single response from support. They say they have 24/7 support but it looks like they just abandoned their customers. Out of business maybe? DO NOT HOST HERE

I wonder why there is no any info on any blog or help page or email with charging subscription, that states that to cancel your vahleim server and billing you need to visit valheimserverhosting.com

My Valheim server is dead and I can't even access my backups to transfer it elsewhere. Worst of all, their support refuses to respond to my messages. If I could at least get my files, I wouldn't lose everything, but they are completely unresponsive.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. I signed up for a recurring service with Hostari, but cancelled within 30 days. They continued to charge my credit card for months after. I tried logging in to my account, but received a message stating my email address was invalid. I tried calling them dozens of times and left my contact info, they NEVER returned my calls, and continued billing me. I reached out to Amex to dispute the charges and they told me I had to take it up with the merchant. Finally, I threatened Amex with cancelling my card. They blocked all future transactions, and issued me a new card with different numbers. Do NOT do business with this company. Don't believe me? Call their direct phone number. It will ring and ring, but nobody ever answers. You will eventually get their answering service, but will never call you back! Try it before you buy. You won't be dissapointed!

Hey Ken, you have an account on ValheimServerHosting.com where you originally bought your subscription. Sorry to hear that we didn't get back to you over the phone in time. I've sent you a separate email showing the cancellation and refund for your entire account. Best, Xavi

I bought the most expensive and strongest package they have to a palworld server. It barely runs with 3 people on it and i'm suppose to be able to host 32 players. Not to mention it crashed on me today because of HD disk usage exceeding the amount allowed, which means these servers are ancient and don't have the upgrades required to run games like palworld. It's been half a day with no response from customer service. If you're playing an older game with virtually no system requirements this might be ok to run on, but otherwise... choose someone else. 2/18/24 Update server is up and running and hostari was super nice and apologized. I'm not 100% confident with the service quality yet, but they did reach out to me privately about that and i'll continue as is for now.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us, we can refund you in full with no questions asked. As you might know, Palworld is terribly unoptimized as a game, and all hosts are actively looking for ways to improve the experience. We're putting in a fix to auto-increase HDD usage at no cost once we detect HDD usage hitting the maximum limit. We don't overcrowd our servers and the resources you get are dedicated to you and you alone and never shared with any other customers so as to not impact performance.
