Host Advice is a bogus "advice" company that is basically a front and advertising platform for established companies, most of them with notoriously poor support and service. Completely disregard any of their "services" and opinions, they are nothing but an affiliate...

Stay away from hostadvice.com
Rude and very unhelpful people working in this company hostadvice.com. I was reading about a web hosting review and I wanted to use the link they have on their site. However, the hosting site link was not working and when I tried to get some help from the support on hostadvice.com regarding the link that is not working. They said we can’t help you and this is a review site. Then I tried another support and I was telling about how the first guy was not welling to help and the second guy wrote in CAPs “ANYONE CAN SUBMIT THEIR HOSTING COMPANY“ and said I can’t help you and blocked me from the chat to respond. Craig Timmins and Michael Lavnduski both should not be behaving this way with their customers. I am no longer going to visit hostadvice.com. They could have checked the broken link that I mentioned but they decided that I am not worth the help for some reason. hostadvice.com is a disappointing.

fake reviewer, DO NOT TRUST
fake reviewer. I have posted a negative review on a hosting. My info was shared with hosting company without my permission and host advice repeatedly emailed me to show proofs, I've shared my email screenshots and invoices from the hosting company. They approved but never showed my negative review.
To test host advice was fake, I've submitted a 5-star rating to another hosting. This time my review was approved in less than 1 hour and started showing online.
people behind host advice are fraud and do not read their crap

Bad moderation and Support
Bad moderation, This review site has a very bad moderation and very bad support.
I saw many reviews that are actually false and I ask some people and they also answered "Yes it is a false review" so this means that HostAdvice isn't really that good (of course how would just a group of people know all) and So I decided to get support about false reviews on their site but there is a very bad thing that happened.... They never answer or reply back with my support!
This show that they might be a review site that doesn't care about things and this is bad and it makes a company getting bad reputation just because of fake reviews.
But still some people do provide good reviews.

DO NOT Trust the reviews on Host Advice...
DO NOT Trust the reviews on Host Advice...they do NOT leave the negative reviews for any of these highly reviewed web hosting companies up...i.e I left a negative review for DTS-NET and it was never published.
DTS-NET did not refund my money although they have a 30 day guarantee refund policy.
So when trying to leave this review on Host Advice, they never published it and when I asked why through their chat they claimed I had to contact them by email ????? What? Why do I have to email you about my review? if you are NOT bought by these companies as you say just post the damn review!!!...do NOT believe the high rating for these web hosting services, Host Advice is not giving you the whole story by only publishing positive reviews and not posting the negative ones.

I'm so naive
I'm so naive! I am a blogger who is starting my website. I'm looking around the net for information about site hosts, and this chat box magically pops and someone starts "helping" me choose a hosting provider. He asks a few questions and makes a recommendation -- complete with a discount link. I was dazzled! How nice! Like finding an employee in a store who actually wants to help you and knows something about the products! But I continued my research, of course. I go back to the links Host Advice had sent -- and they had disappeared and that part of the chat was now closed. I reopen the chat and request the links. No response. I request again. No response. Now I come here to discover that the links are worthless anyway. It wasn't a ripoff -- as far as I know -- but it was annoying -- and I feel like a fool for having been taken in.

Below is the email we received from HOST ADVICE…
It seems completely unnecessary to us that HOST ADVICE need not only proof of an invoice in order for our review of Bluehost to be published on their site, but they also need additional personal information from a social media profile, as if we have time for all this nonsense social media garbage. And on top of having a "social media profile", it still needs to be approved as "legitimate" by Host Advice first, because maybe our "social media" garbage isn't junky enough. Why isn't an invoice enough?? Because Host Advice is a dishonest front serving as advertising for Bluehost, and THE REVIEWS OF HOST ADVICE ARE FAKES!! complete advertising phonies, wasting every bodies time. At least we can post a review of HOST ADVICE so people don't lose any time reading anything from these HOST ADVICE. Below is the email we received from Host Advice after trying to post a review.
Hello,
Thanks for taking your time to write a review about BlueHost at HostAdvice.
Since your review is really negative, I would please need your name and your social media profile (Twitter, facebook, g+1 or linkedin) in order to make sure that you are a real person.
If that is fine with you, please send me a link to one of your social profiles and if everything seems legit your review will be kept on HostAdvice.com.
Also, we need from you some evidence and name of site that was hosted on that hosting company. Please send us your email you’ve signed up with them + invoice.
Thanks again for helping the web hosting community!
Kind regards,
Angela,
HostAdvice reviews approval team.
