Got my order but the website did not show my order. I ordered my hinges and later created an account. When I tried to view my order after signing in, the order did not show up and it said there was no current orders so I could not tract the order. The order was correct and I received it in about the time I expected it.

In the late 1970's- early 1980's I was inspired to build a 7' 11" reproduction of a Goddard Townsend, (Newport, Rhode Island) secretary (the secretaries they built are reported the most famous furniture ever built in America) reproduction with 14 carvings because of an article in a Fine Woodworking magazine. I was excited to fine the Chippendale reproduction brass hardware made and sold by Horton Brasses was exactly what the Goddard Townsend brass appeared and was pleased to install it on this famous period reproduction. Of over 50 pieces of furniture I have built, it remains the piece I am most proud. As the years pasted, one of the brass pieces got damaged. I called Horton and talked with a most helpful Addy. I emailed her a picture of the damaged piece so she could verify the darkness shade of the brass. Addy and the staff at Horton Brasses filled my order of two brass Chippendale pieces, etc. and received my order faster than I expected, received just what I ordered, and again extremely pleased with Horton Brass after so many years. I am so pleased Horton Brasses fabricates and offers the highest quality reproduction period brass I have found in America and they offer the exact same brass as they did in the early 1980's!! The secretary is again flawless and the show piece in our home thanks to Horton Brasses! Thanks Addy and Horton Brasses!!
