Hello, HoneyBook comes with its own built in payment processor to allow your clients to make payments directly through the invoices you send them from your account. All you need to do is connect your bank account to HoneyBook so we know where to direct funds. You have the ability to connect a personal or a business bank account to HoneyBook. You can select one of three different business entities when starting to connect your bank account to HoneyBook: Individual: You own & run a business, but do not have an EIN (Employer Identification Number). You use your social security number when filing your taxes. Sole Proprietor: You own & run a business and were issued an EIN. If you have filled out an SS-4 Form to register your business with the IRS, you have a government issued EIN. Alternatively, if your organization is a registered nonprofit, please select this entity type when connecting your bank account to HoneyBook. LLC-Partnership-Corp.: You pay taxes as an LLC, partnership, or corporation. If you have filled out an SS-4 Form to register your business with the IRS, you have a government issued EIN. -HoneyBook Team

Hi there, In general, credit card payments usually take 2-3 business days to reach your account, and bank transfers (ACH) usually take 7-8 business days (since the funds need to clear your client's bank account first). Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding bank holidays. Remember, though, that all times are approximate and may be subject to delay based on bank processes. Once you have been transacting with HoneyBook for at least 6 weeks, you'll have the option to use Instant Deposit, as well, on all qualifying payments! -HoneyBook Team

Hi there, HoneyBook does offer an instant deposit feature, you can read more about the terms and payments that qualify for instant deposit here in our help center. Instant deposits use debit rails in order to deposit funds into your account faster. Once a client makes a card payment, you’re able to transfer the funds directly to your debit card. They typically arrive within 24 hours (often, as few as 30 minutes), instead of the standard 2-3 business days. Keep in mind that the instant deposits feature is currently only open to members who have been receiving payments through HoneyBook for at least 6 weeks. A little newer to HoneyBook? You won’t see instant deposits in your account just yet, but hang tight—we’ll let you know as soon as you’re eligible for this feature! -HoneyBook Team
