Because the majority of reviews are from new users, I thought it may be beneficial to read one from a customer who’s used it for over a year. Going into this I had little knowledge of CBD, what to expect and even how much to give. The purchase was for my cat who’s been suffering From fairly extreme skin allergies for a couple of years. It’s fair to point out that CBD helps to manage symptoms and not treat flare ups, it doesn’t replace medications like antibiotics and in some situations will work alongside other medications. The simplest way to explain what it does would be It Calms Everything down, which means the brains neurotransmitters are not sending false signals that your body’s under attack, which normally respond with inflammation, that then signals back tothe brain it’s under attack, which responds by sending even more false signals. CBD successfully puts out the fire before it gets out of hand. The tricky part with CBD is dosage which may be different larger or smaller depending on your pets reactions. With my cat it work’s fast - about 10 minutes. I started off at the recommended amount and he’d sleep all day and night, I gradually lowered the dose and found 1mg twice a day helps control his symptoms as well as letting him be s cat. Bottom line it’s effective but it doesn’t give you a pass to skip out from seeing a vet. Something to consider is all CBD oil manufacturers don’t operate exactly the same, I tried two other companies before settling on Honest Paws

I didn’t actually try the product because I had already bought and started using another oil from a different company. But the packaging looks very high quality and the customer service from Omar for my return was excellent. He was efficient, accommodating, responsive and a great communicator! Thank you!

My Maltese bichon has intervertebral disc disease. He was at the point that the steroids weren’t working and steroids are not good to be on long term so I thought what does he have to lose by starting the CBD oil. I started him on a low dose 3 times a day. It took about 2 weeks till I noticed slight improvement. I then cut him back to twice a day. I knew if I gave too much if he was very lethargic and snoring. The low dose twice a day has been keeping everything under control. I am so very happy that this has been controlling his pain. One time he reinjured himself but by the next day he was a little better. So I know this is working. I don’t know if he would be alive if it weren’t for the CBD. I am a firm believer in the CBD after what I have seen.
