Ordering/receiving was easy
Ordering/receiving was easy. My 14.5 y.o. Yorkie has Sundowner's and we had not slept in longer than 2 hr increments as soon we shut the lights off for bed. We tried....Trazadone, Gabapentin, liquid Benadryl per vet and it made her more elevated to the point we thought she was going to have a heart attack. It was so sad and hard to watch her go thru this. Next, we tried liquid melatonin. That worked, for a bit,than the night time stress began again. We tried cbd in the past and returned the product cuz is did NOTHING. This time we tried Honest Paws cbd, we were pretty desperate for a good night sleep and wanted to give our pooch a reprieve before we resorted to real drugs....some safe form of a tranquilizer. Honestly, we were willing to try anything and were pretty skeptical since other cbd brands has not worked. We know cbd didn't work for me during shoulder surgery until I used cbd with thc but that is NOT SAFE FOR DOGS. Night #1, we gave our Yorkie .5 the dose recommended. Holy cow, we slept the entire night. No s***, 7 hrs! Than....the nxt nt, and the nxt nt,etc. It is amazing how much of her personality has returned since she is not stressing the entire nt. A few times she has been triggered during the daytime by something that is causing her angst....panting, crawling up our leg, scratching at the door, pacing,etc. Within 10 min of the cbd she was chilled. I teased her calling her my pothead dog...tho we know there is no thc in the product. Since cbd alone has not worked for me maybe I should try my dogs cbd...just kidding, but since I am going in for knee replacement I would welcome something taking the edge off of the pain.
