Hey Gary, I just wanted to speak to a few things in your review: The biggest benefit to being with Hone is often what some consider the biggest pain point. Our onboarding is not set up for speed, it's set up for safety. This means we’re extremely careful with who we treat and how we treat them. Confirmatory labs (the other lab you mentioned) are safety protocols that do delay things, but they assure ALL patients are ready to safely begin treatment. Other companies skirt around all of this, offer discounts, and focus on onboarding as many customers as possible and just getting them on treatment. Hone doesn’t have customers, we have patients. And although we’re a business that wants to make money, our first goal is our patient’s health. If we can treat them safely, we know their business will be with us for the long haul. When it comes to the $155 membership, that actually covers all of the necessary care to receive the types of treatments that Hone offers. It covers advanced lab panels and comprehensive doctor visits every 3 months, non-routine doctor visits when necessary, free 2-day shipping on all orders, access to the Care Team, and private access to Hone's online member community. Routine lab work and doctor visits every three months are something any reputable healthcare provider will require to receive treatment. Although the above membership isn't cheap, it's much more affordable and convenient than traditional healthcare. Typically, you'll have to jump through some hoops to see a specialist who 'might' submit a lab order that covers the depth of Hone's advanced panels. If they do, the cost of those labs (even with insurance) will most likely be hundreds of dollars. Even then, if your doctor is willing to prescribe the level of precision medication that Hone offers, the cost of those treatments (once again, even with insurance) can be expensive. Hone will exhaust all efforts to help make your care as affordable as possible. For example, our Care Team will assist with sending scripts to your local pharmacy and help you leverage programs like GoodRX–––where the cost of medications will be cut down dramatically in most cases.
