If I could give this store a zero or negative, I would. I purchased two lamps based on inventory showing 12 available. After two supposed orders for these lamps, Home Goods still could not supply them and I canceled the order. I have been told they refunded me but know this is true - my credit card company has not processed any credit from Home Goods. I have made dozens of calls trying to get this resolved with no success. This company is a fraud and should be out of business.

I received a $25 gift card to home goods from a family member so I browsed around online and found a very lovely throw blanket. (Artelier Nicole Miller reversible Emma throw) At the time the throw was on “sale” for $15. When I added it to my cart the shipping was $14.99 plus tax. I ended up spending over my gift card amount on outrageous shipping prices. After about two weeks I finally received my throw which looks absolutely nothing like the photo. Instead of being a light cream and white color with some slight dark brown details it is white with brown and grey leopard print. I understand some things can look slightly different from advertised photos but the photo of the throw has NO spots on it. FALSE ADVERTISING and they trick you with the “sales” so you then have to pay OVERPRICED shipping unless you spend a crazy amount all at once. Not a fan and will not be shopping here again.

This company is the biggest scammer a I have ever meet. First off it seems 90% of the items including paintings come directly from China. Their inflated prices on this stuff is astronomical. They support child labor by purchasing these goods from China. They also are not the cheapest place around. Do a search for housewares they have. I found items cheaper at bestbuy, Macy's, and even bloomingdales. They do not honor their return policy either and will make you drive a hundred miles back to where it was bought because their system doesn't always scan the receipt barcode they they claim they can't verify the receipt so refuse the return. How is it that its the customers problem that you can't verify the receipt your company provided to me? So I need to go from las Vegas back to San Clemente to return it? Idts bunch of fraudsters for sure. Avoid at all costs as well as tjmaxx marshalls etc. They all do the same thing.

Shopping on this website was HORRIBLE and a waste of time. Sunday I placed an order for over $150. Around midnight I got an e-mail stating my transaction had been cancelled with no explanation. Placed the order again on Monday, as an item in my cart was just about to be sold out. I then e-mailed home goods and asked what was going on. They had to “verify my billing address.” Makes no sense because it’s the same one on my card, yet they claim it wasn’t. So because this process takes over 24 hours, one of my items then got sold out completely so now I can’t have it! Now I have to pay $65+ more on another site because they decided to string me along, not let me know what was going on and they ALLOW your items to be taken away during this verification process. Never had such a miserable 3 days of a shopping experience in my LIFE.

Homegoods does nothing to support your IP rights. Recently this company contracted out to a smaller company called Too Good Gourmet to put together some small gift sets. They are distributing one called The Wisdom Of Tea and Tarot . Too Good Gourmet ordered some tarot cards from China off a company called Shenzhen Yahong Color Printing Co., Ltd who had my files from a previous job I had printed with them. This printer sold my design to them without my permission and also stole intellectual property right off my website for the booklet included with the set. TGG were told to cease and desist distributing my work and website material without my knowledge or permission. TJMAXX/Homegoods were also given this same information. They refuse to deal with me directly or pull the pirated material off their shelves. They continue selling it and profiting off it without an apology or any offers of compensation. The kicker is customers are sending me the complaints regarding the quality of the deck being sold to them with the kit. It only has 40 cards and is incomplete. This is causing brand confusion and a lot of headache and heartache for customers and myself. With all the money this company makes in a year , TJMAXX/Homegoods could of easily hired their own artist instead of stealing my work.
