Once a new user is authenticated they can instantly deploy bare metal servers whenever they like. In your case, you created an account Friday night and the teams in charge of the authentication process, Billing and Sales, were offline which resulted in you having to wait until Saturday morning for the authentication process to be completed and your server to then be deployed. Apologies if our Technical Support Team did not communicate the process and timing accurately. You would never have to wait for days, just hours at the most, and now that your account is established no waiting at all.

We take the level of customer service and technical support we offer very seriously and in turn most of our reviews are highly positive. Unfortunately, due to continuous abusive and threatening behavior toward our staff we have disallowed you from communicating with our staff over the phone or live chat. Most recently you have have used slurs toward our staff while also threatening to dox them and establish fake accounts in order to lower our positive review status. We have now informed you that you are no longer welcome at Hivelocity and will need to find a new provider. We hope you find peace and wellness in 2022.

Our abuse dept typically runs a pretty tight ship and reacts to abuse complaints swiftly. We have tens of thousands of servers in our data centers and have a duty to our customers to keep our IPs clean (which they are). However, with tens of thousands of dedicated servers we deal with and react to abuse cases every day. You will find that of the few negative reviews we have, most are from network abusers that we have taken offline. If you have a specific issue you would like us to address please email abuse at hivelocity dot net and will react accordingly.

You have requested our assistance 95 times in 3 months. You have a “self-managed” server. We offer “managed services” for $35. We have assisted you 95 times free of charge. Based on the amount of questions and frankly the technical level of questions you are asking you really need managed services. While I wish we could, we do not provide unlimited tech time and assistance to our customers, especially when they opt to manage the server themselves. That is not what you are doing.

I found your account. The issues you faced with us, and likely the other 36 hosts you have given a 1 star review to, are due to you lacking proper SysAdmin skills. You locked yourself out of the server due to the firewall. We attempted to help you numerous times. Anyhow, good luck with your future endeavors.

The customer acquired a self-managed dedicated server from us. We received dozens of SPAM complaints including complaints from upstream provider NTT. Customer's server resulted in a /24 IP range getting black listed. We filed abuse complaints with the customer who refused to take action and said they were "fake complaints". We provided full headers of the SPAM emails. After no action and further complaints we had to take the server offline as is our policy. We typically do not put abusive servers back online. We have no interest in customer's intellectual property. Our interest is in protecting our network from RBLs. The last thing we ever want to do is take a paying customer offline, it is the complete opposite of the business we are in. However, we have to consider our network and protecting our thousands of other customers who rely on us to provide them with a clean network.
