I was happy with their service, but when their hardware started failing it took almost 2 months from the first fail til the hardware replacement and the hardware replacement happened in business hours so we are moving to another provider.

This shit hosting company tried to steal my money! I placed my first order and I was asked for Identity verification. that mean I have to send my ID and card picture to them! I never expected buying some hosting would need some ID verification. so, I went to customer support and talk that I want to cancel my order cause I was charged for it. but, all they said is just we can't cancel your order and you have to cancel it yourself. so, I asked for a guide on "HOW TO CANCEL IT MYSELF" but they said I need to go in my server menu and click on cancel this server. the problem is I can't click my server menu cause I need to do identity verification first. it just like a loop that would never end. working with this shit company was pain in the ass. so I decided to call my bank and dispute my transaction.

I am very satisfied. Their service is excellent, and they took responsibility for the downtime that affected my service; I hope they keep this up.

This company went downhill in a huge hurry. Didn't even make it a full year as a customer before issues started. The attitude I get from second tier tech support is hilarious. Basically was told that something my server did just fine for seven months .. well I shouldn't expect no packet loss. High pings to the gateway was perfectly normal. They have DOS attacks in a completely unrelated datacenter. There was a LOT of excuses but seemingly not a care in the world that my server was flaking out. They even told me that what I was running woudn't work on the 'shared bandwidth' of my dedicated server yet a cheap VPS was running the identical OS and software without an issue. Well that was until I cancelled the dedicated server then the VPS started having major packet loss for long periods of time so I had to dump it too. I did notice when switching from another host that their network is under heavy bot scanning and attacks non stop worse than I had ever seen. I ended up going back to my old host after I realized they are heads and tails above this company and when you have network related issues they actually take it seriously. I finally realized this company has some really poor support staff running things.

Great products, great customer service and support. Very happy with Hivelocity.

I value smooth operations from my service providers. Fewer tricks and more value. I experienced an easy, comfortable, and transparent order process for a dedicated server, and just as easy and comfortable communication for a refund when plans changed — and that is also important. Thanks.

Meh is what I'd describe the current experience for Hivelocity as. There's been a bunch of leadership turnover and changes in the past year or so, and you can kind of feel it as a customer. Support is still responsive and quick to answer tickets, but it feels more corporate now and almost as if the support guys are just doing their own thing. If you're looking for bare metal and they have a good deal in a server location that you want, go for it. You'll probably be fine. But I'm also keeping an eye on other options these days, which wasn't something I was doing a year ago. Still rating it 4 stars because objectively the service works and nothing is actually broken. Just... not what it used to be.

They deleted a Virtual Machine of us in a migration. Unrecoverable. No regrets. As if this is normal. 6 years of data gone. Dont trust them!!!
