Online ordering was fine. But the company website did not disclose or warn the buyer of the delivery time until after the order was processed. The confirmation stated 5-7 weeks. I then emailed customer service after 7 weeks and they then stated 8-10 weeks. The product did not arrive until almost 11 weeks. 74 days! Disappointing service.

I love the product and I understand that all the items are hand made, but it took a few months for this to arrive. I wish you had some inventory vs having to wait so long for product. I did check all the other sources you provided where they might have the item, but none of them had any stock. I wish I would have ordered two of them....LOL

Purchased 2 Kydex Basket Weave handcuff holsters. I waited about 10 weeks total from purchase to delivery. Delivery was delayed by an extra day, but that’s USPS problem not HSG. Anyway, a week in I got out of my patrol car and my handcuffs slipped out. I checked the holster and the screw for the retention adjustment had managed to unscrew itself over the course of the week and it was lost in the abyss under the seat. Luckily I had an extra two screws, longer than the orginals, from a Safariland holster that I used to repair one holster with and swap the screw out of the other holster as well. For the price, the wait, and workmanship I am giving 3 stars. The holsters, minus the retention screw, otherwise are working great.

HSG products are second to none and I’ve been a customer for years. This review isn’t directed towards the products themselves, rather the lead time it takes to get a product directly from HSG. When ordering, it doesn’t say whether it is in stock or back ordered. There is also no indication when purchasing about any lead times. It took almost 13 weeks to get my items. I reached out to customer service around week 6 and was advised of the 8-10 week lead times on the Duty Tacos. They did offer to refund the order and directed me to one of their dealers that had items in stock, however because I was using a gift card for a portion of the purchase, I don’t know if that would’ve been refunded. I decided to give them the additional 2 weeks to fill the order, but that turned into 7 weeks. My only recommendation is that if you continue to offer online purchasing directly from HSG, I suggest that you add whether it’s in stock or if not, what the estimated lead times are. This way, customers are not surprised after submitting an order.

The products, the standard rifle and pistol/rifle combo TACO, were well made and seem quite durable. The TACOs easily accommodate just about any long gun magazine. Such as my 3" 12ga shotgun magazines, but still have great retention even on smaller magazines like standard AR15 mags. The OneWrap straps on the belt mounted TACOS are very strong and the stitching holding the straps to the pouch will likely give out before the velcro pops open if you tried to pull these off. However, information was lacking or unclear about the product. For the TACOs its often not that clear what the mounting system is and what dimensions the mounting system fits. The first time I accidently bought belt mounted TACOs, as there was only a single picture of the front and a very brief description that didnt really go into detail about the mounting system on the back. The lack of details of the mounting option is weird, since that's so important to attachments like this. Also there was no option given to return/replace the belt mounted TACOs with MOLLE ones. Meaning I have to try and sell the belt mounted TACOs myself to get my money back to cover the MOLLE ones I ordered afterwards. Making this a massive hassle just to get magazine pouches.

Wildly average experience overall, we will see about shipping and product though, I’ll definitely return with a good review if your claims are true and the product is great.

I followed the sizing directions precisely for a 34 inch belt line measured with a leather belt in place; ordered a small slim grip padded belt and medium 1.75 inch cobra rigger belt. Perhaps I was on that borderline, where sizing is questionable, as the medium slim grip belt would have overlapped, not good. After the belts were assembled it was apparent they were too short. Thru no fault of HSGI I have gear I can't use.

I have been using off the shelf Tacos for years but wanted a very specific set of items that I mistakenly assumed I should get factory direct. It wasn't until 4 weeks went by with my order still showing as 'processing' that I scoured my email and found a message in my spam folder saying it will take 6-8 weeks for 2 tacos and a med pouch. Nearly $300US. Looks like cheap Amazon rip-offs after this
