Chinese junk, won't issue refund after return
They don't sell OEM, it's all Chinese knock-offs. Rep I talked to assured me I'd get a refund as soon as tracking was verified. It's been a month, no refund. Now they're not getting back to me.

This place is such a ridiculous joke!! This stuff comes from china folks. That’s not the big deal! But when they don’t say that up front and it’s going to take a couple weeks that needs to be known. I canceled my order and from I said they started sending crazy emails. This is not a company , this is some fake company who reproduces Nintendo’s. Beware do not buy. This place is called HIGHLAND ARCHIVE not retro gaming house I’m sure they’ve switched names from multiple people complaining. Terrible terrible experience

This seller is fraudulent and should be investigated. I ordered a SNES Classic from this site in April. I didn’t receive a shipping notification after two days, so I looked into this website further. After reading they may sell fraudulent goods, I contacted my CC company to dispute the charge. The next day, the product ships from China. Not promising, but since the item was at least on the way, I canceled the dispute. Once the item arrived, I realized it was indeed a fake SNES Classic. I then contacted Highland Archive for a return. They sent me a return label via USPS. I returned the system, but never received a refund. I spoke to the seller today about getting my money back and he said he would work on it, as my CC number had changed. They also mentioned the bad review I left. I offered to delete my bad review in exchange for my refund, so I can finally settle this issue. Apparently the seller would rather write long replies to my review attempting to discredit me rather than simply returning my money. As of now I am out $130 and a lot of time, with nothing to show for it. Buyer beware.

This gentleman Matthew Pierson left this review today that is completely false. This gentleman is making false accusations regarding my business. I have text proof as well as proof from transactions and past conversations to prove it. The claims that are being made are incorrect. The individual rather than reaching out to us for help opened a chargeback claiming his item was never delivered, I reached out to him regarding the chargeback and let him know if he closed the dispute, I could initiate a refund for the item not being received but I'm unable to initiate a refund when there's an open charge back, you have to wait for the bank to conduct it's investigation. The individual never responded. Ultimately the item was delivered back in April. The bank investigated the chargeback and recently ruled in our favor because the item was in fact delivered and the gentleman refused to use the return label we sent to send the item back after he received it. Matthew got upset the funds were taken back from him, made a brand new Trustpilot account and left a fake review. He then reached out to us by text message saying he would "remove the review" if we sent him his money back to a DIFFERENT credit card for an item he received months ago! While he "keeps the fake goods". Extortion at its finest. The individual left a fake review as leverage for me to give him his money back for something he ultimately received and clearly liked if he refused to send it back. I have all of this information saved and documented and can send this to anyone that would like to see it.

Ordered SNES two weeks ago and paid for expedited shipping. According to tracking number it's barely just arrived from mainland China to the United States. I'm guessing I'll get it in another two weeks after it clears customs. Am concerned I bought a knockoff because it's straight out of China. Highland Archive only offers two systems. Odd for a dedicated retro gaming company. I'll bet I bought a knockoff...I received it and there is no Nintendo logo on HDMI cord or any of the cords. It actually was missing a plug in device but I had an extra. There is delay in saving games and when you turn it back on the save is gone. It did have the poster. I don't believe Nintendo made this after watching a review of a real Nintendo retro console with built in games. There's a lot of differences between what I watched on YouTube about a real Nintendo retro mini console and what I own. Highland Archive stated in an email to me Nintendo makes their consoles....Not true.
