I love the store, their prices and the products but returns take way too long. The time frame given on their website and by customer service is not accurate at all. They received my item back in the mail 15 days ago and are now telling me it can take 30 days to get an egiftcard sent to me. This is ridiculous. I accidentally ordered the wrong size soccer ball for my daughter and I contacted them about it immediately after placing the order, in hopes of changing the size. I was told no, I would have to wait until I get it, return it, then I can purchase the correct size. I never expected it to take months to happen. Very disappointed. EDITED TO ADD, I received my gift card email for the return shortly after leaving this review. Changed from 1 star to 3.

I made an online order at Hibbett for Christmas gifts for someone who lives in a different state. One item never showed and I tried multiple times online to resolve the issue with no avail. I called to get help, the rep laughed on the phone, and said more than likely your claim would be denied, even though their records show and it shows online with order status that the item is still awaiting a carrier. The fact that no effort was put in to resolve the issue bothers me. I will NOT be shopping again and recommend others do the same.

The shipping information on my online order never updated beyond UPS “label created”. For over a week there were no updates or tracking of the item and I was checking daily. The site said the item would ship UPS, but it was actually delivered by the post office. I got the item within quoted time, but I think they could do a better job of informing on who the item is actually being delivered by, and when it is expected to arrive. Item was as expected (Nike shoes), though it was obvious the order was picked from a store where the item had been on the floor and tried on before. The paper typically in and around brand new shoes was missing, and there was a strand of human hair inside one of the shoes (gross). Probably won’t order from Hibbett again.

Usually decent. Ships fast and pretty awesome deals and reward program. Pretty inconsistent between what each store offers and the releases. They sold me a pair of Air Max2 CB 94 on April 27. They emailed me on Friday April 30th saying there was a delay but my shoes would ship soon. I called to follow up May 4th because I still hadn't gotten any tracking and the customer service agent wasn't much of a help. Come to find out they cancelled my order after a week, then waited even 3 or 4 days (today May 7th) to email me after the fact. Like, what if that was a gift you know? So why sell me the shoes or not have a better logistics and supply chain SOP/ software? I had $30 in reward points applied to the shoe and I truly believe they "sold out" to those who paid the full price and since I had the $30 off, I got the short end of the stick. Like how did it take so long to realize you sold out, to cancel my order and then also email me about the cancel? seems real shady

I must compliment Hibbetts for the speed with in which they deliver but the customer service agent cannot to be taken at their word. Maybe I should not place them all in the same bracket, so I will speak about my experience with two representatives. One whose name I forgot. I placed an order at Hibbets.com and when I received my order the security device was still attached to one of the items. After reaching out to customer service, I spoke with a very nice young man, letting him know how dissappointed I was about the mistake. He tried to find a store that I could visit to get the security device taken off but I opted to send it back via mail because it was less headache( commuting and covid-19). The nice young man apologized profusely because he realized how annoyed I was with the situation. He said that I can re-order the item at the same price I paid( price would be honored).Also I will be given an extra 20 percent off what I paid for the item. I was told to call customer service back when I am ready to place my order because he put a note on my account. I did just that!! Today( 6/3/2020) I called customer service to place my order and I spoke to Nick. I even went as far as asking if I can order two items and get the discount promised😁. It would be too lengthy to write about our whole conversation. Nick decided that he is not able to honor the 20 percent extra that I was promised. He also told me that he could not give me the item at the price I paid for it because he had no way of adjusting the price over the phone. I was told to buy the item at the current online price and then they would adjust the price later on ( refund me the difference later on). He was very emphatic in his refusal to honor the extra twenty percent and to sell the item at my previous purchase price. As a matter of fact he said,"I am not sure why you were told that". Like I said Hibbett customer service cannot be taken at their word. Where is the honor? Why use that word lightly? I am sure that the customer representative was only doing what he was taught by the company. Quite sad that a company cannot be trusted to train their reps to speak truth. Sad!
