I went to Hhgreg on Dec28 2024 in was treated badly. I was racially profiled by the finance guy. The sales guy was wonderful. But I discover that another customer wanted the same vehicle as me. He was Hispanic and so was the finance guy. I am a black woman for content purpose. The finance guy kept create an obstacles for me to purchase the Hyundai palisade. First he says my credit score was to low I said ok I understand, he said I need a co-sign got one, then he says oh this co signer doesn’t have enough weight I said ok. I found another one he didn’t want any information for the other co signer. he was surprised, So next thing he did was have the assistant manager come talk to me. So the assistant manager came over and said oh just in case we can’t get you approve let’s find another vehicle for you. I went along with just to see what I thought was going on was true. I can visibly see that the car salesman was upset about what they were doing to me. So he says when you came in you ask about a vw atlas. The assistant manager states I said yes but the vehicle isn it here , I change my mind so he pulls it up and it’s the same price as the Hyundai. Then he goes for the hailMary oh we can send someone to go get the atlas for you right now.So I put one and one together instantly. Before I can say anything my partner came over , told me heard the conversation with the other salesman and the customer stating that they are going to give him the vehicle I chooses don’t worry. They are making it difficult for me. So my boyfriend whisper in my ear telling me let’s just leave. As I am looking at the assistant mgr he realize he has royally f up on the switch up. He smiles and say give me a moment in walk away. So I tell them I am leaving I don’t say anything. As I walk to my vehicle I remember I forgot I left my bank statement paper with the finance guy so I go back in. Before I tell you what I saw with my on eyes I forgot to mention the fiancé guy says to me before I walk out out loud if you put 9500 down the vehicle is yours. Soon as he says that the customer who wanted the same vehicle eyes immediately began to get wide with worry. I politely said no I decline to have a good day. So back to the ending I walked in his office in 4k black n white is the customer information driver license in all in his desk for the same vehicle almost completed. Now I just walked out less than 2 minutes and I use to work at a car dealership and own one so I know how fast financing works. So the same day I went to north Miami Mitsubishi dealer . Surprised I was able to get the Hyundai palisade a new year vehicle low mileage same features by myself with a 3000 down deposit. So I kept getting text messages from Hhgreg assistant manager asking if I need a vehicle. So I told him that I was treated badly and I was going to be write a bad customer review. Now I’m receiving denial letters for car dealership near them that I never applied to. So now I have to contact the credit bureau . To Report fraud. So I can’t prove it but they have my information and I only gave. my information to two car dealership them and the one I bought my car from. So you can put it together, now my credit is taking a major hit.

Interested in a vehicle which they claim is 6K below market price, but when you add the 2399 in dealer fees plus title tag etc - 15k goes to 20k. They offer preapproval on website but only want you to come in to dealership - high pressure bait and switch tactic. They say only the manager can give price - but it has price advertised plus fees which is what they don't want you to be aware of until on lot. They state that they can't even get preapprovals due to security concerns - sounds kind of like they broke the law or got caught with unethical practices. I love when they say the buying process is complex and you need to be there so they can "guide you through" the process. Any other dealer will help you through the very simple process of buying a vehicle. Too too many red flags here to do business with them!!!

Our rate is NO stars our experience with HGreg in Tampa was the worst experience we have ever come across we were interest in buying a BMW X1 that we saw on their site the price was $7500 we made an appointment to go and see it and the sales representative told us that we was holding the car for us for the next day! When we were 15 minutes away from the HGreg we called them to let them know that we were almost there and they told us that the car was sold of course, we were surprised to hear that they sold the car My Husband and I took the day off to go and see it. Then they transferred us to the manager, which he had a totally different story. He told us that they noticed that there was something wrong with the car so they brought it to an offsite garage to be fixed, and that he gave us his word that the car was ours and that as soon as it was ready, he would call us and let us know when to pick it up. So after a few calls, he told us that the car was gonna be ready by the end of the week we called him and we told him that we were gonna go pick up the car on Friday and of course he started making all sorts of excuses how the car was not there again and they didn’t know what was wrong with it Just jerking us around and being unethical about the whole situation then all of a sudden we see the car on their site at a higher price for $9998 when we called them to ask them what was that all about? He said that’s a mistake. Don’t worry about it. I will take it out of the site. The car is still getting fixed and don’t worry the car will be yours after jerking us around for three weeks my husband and I called the head office in Montreal. The manager there was very unprofessional very rude. We told him that we were gonna take action send them a lawyer’s letter by lying to us for three weeks. After numerous of texts and phone calls between the manager in Montreal and the manager in Tampa, we still had no answer to where the car was. We called them on December 6 in the morning, asking him again when Will the car be ready and again the manager from the Tampa H Greg told me that he does not know what is wrong with the car and he did not know when they were getting it back! Then all of a sudden we get a call the same day around 6:30 PM from Nick the manager in Tampa telling us that the car is back in the showroom, so that tells you how much of a liars they are and how much unethical they are to their customers, they lie to us about the car being in service because they made a mistake of pricing the car too low so they removed the car from their showroom and for three weeks they were lying to us constantly. Just to call us back and tell us that the car now is $10,000 and that we’re not going to be getting the car at the price that we had originally seen it on their site which was at $7500. so I just want everybody to know H Greg R liars manipulators they change their prices on their customers by lying to them! They are unethical and I would advise everyone who would even consider buying a car from them NOT TO DO SO!

BEWARE OUT OF STATERS BUYING AT THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!! So my husband and I live in Maine and helping our son out in purchasing a safe, reliable car since he recently moved to Florida. Do NOT buy from this dealership in ANY of its locations. We paid approximately $15,000 when all is said and done and the car is non- drivable!!! My son had his car a week and it stalled and engine light came on. When he went to dealers they REFUSED to even talk. Now 2 weeks later the car is leaking oil so badly it is non-drivable (he has put on less than 100 miles!). At this point the engine has most likely seized and will need a new engine or be scrapped. If the dealership didn’t want to talk 3 weeks ago they sure as heck won’t now!!! Very sneaky, unethical car dealership. And as an out of stater beware as Florida does not have a lemon law for used cars unlike Maine. Sincerely, Sheila from Maine! 😡

I purchased a Mercedes and was offered no discounts at all. Only at pick up did I discover there was only one set of keys. The pick up was a nightmare. As a cash buyer I was kept waiting almost 2 hours for a person to provide the papers for signature. I have purchased probably 20 + cars in my lifetime but never ever had such a nasty, arrogant, uncaring experience.

By far the WORST customer service I have EVER dealt with! I have been on the phone for the last two hours (placed on hold, transferred, left on hold again, hung up on and ignored)! I finally was able to get ahold of a lady by the name of Miki who was able to assist me to the best of her ability and put my mind at ease for the time being. She took the time to listen to me vent about the horrible customer service while also doing some research to find out how she could best help me. Thank you Miki for your assistance, I appreciate the fact that you took the time out to just give a crap about my issue.

Sold us a 2018 Charger to find out it had been flooded out before! The dealership I have it at now said that whoever we bought it from went through alot of trouble to cover up the fact that it had been flooded out. Have filed 2nd complaint with State AG office (had to file 1st one to get the title). This is not a salvage title as it should have been if flooded. Please do NOT buy a car from these CROOKS!!
