Hertz Morocco are run by crooks and thieves. It's sad because it has left a really bad taste in our mouth about Morocco as a whole. When we dropped off our rental car, the man who looks over the car claimed that we had "been in an accident and created damage to the vehicle." This was ABSOLUTELY, without a doubt, UNTRUE. We had PHOTO EVIDENCE that the damage was already existent when we rented the car and showed him. He told us we had to go into the office in the airport to show them the evidence. We went into the office, showed the man working there the photos, and he asked us to fill out a report explaining that we had not been in an accident. He then told us not to worry and that we wouldn't be charged. Three days later, we are charged $1668 by Hertz!! Unbelievable. Truly a scam. This is completely unacceptable and disgusting. We have reported this to our credit card agency as a fraudulent charge and they will begin investigations. Thankfully, like I said, we have photo evidence of this fraudulent scam by Hertz Morocco. We cannot believe we have to be in this situation after treating the car perfectly our entire time renting it. It's sickening. Furthermore, when we picked up the car it had only 1/8 a tank of gas although we had purchased a full to full policy. We still haven't received any kind of compensation for this, after contacting them about it multiple times. We have sent them an email and tried calling with no response yet. Depending on the response from our credit card agency, we will take legal action against Hertz Morocco if necessary. They messed with the wrong people as my god father is a corporate lawyer and is happy to help us with our legal recourse. Stay far, far away from this scam of a franchise.
