I ordered from here all the time won't ever order again I used the same credit card and Google pay order went to old address and it still said filling order tried to get them to change it my billing address was correct but shipment wasn't the told me it would come post office or ups talked to my mailman he said he could try and catch it then I get a email saying order shipped by doordash so I call again to herschners they say oh we changed shipping about a month ago so they c contact door dash bout changing address which shows up on email gets so then I get tracking and a notice comes that says delivering call number to give specific instructions I call phone not in English so I text my info no answer got delivered to wrong address go there package not there can't get refund I'm out 70 bucks and Im a Senior citizen on a fixed income buyer beware delivery service sucks never will order from them again

I have never bought yarn anywhere that didn't give you a return shipping label. The cost to ship it back is more than the yarn. So now I'm stuck with it. The yarn itself is horrible. The yarn goes from worsted weight to finger weight inconsistently throughout. Not good for any project as far as I'm concerned.

Made the mistake of ordering yarn from Herrschner’s. I accidentally used my Mom’s old address and Herrschner’s told me to just refuse the package, which I did. The package has been stuck in the USPS sorting facility in Dallas, TX, since the 3rd of July and it is now the 23rd of July and Herrschner’s is refusing to refund for the lost package. I know there are few options left now that Joann’s is out of business, but I can NOT recommend Herrschner’s because of their bad business practices. Seriously, order from elsewhere unless you like giving businesses your money and not receiving the goods for which you paid!

I ordered a latch hook rug of Abstract wolf. 27 inches by 40 inches. The yarn is terrible. It calls for 15,000 pieces of yarn. I have only done 8000 so far. I have already thrown away over 500 PCs. of yarn I might be short of some yarn. I will never order through you again.

I ordered yarn off they're website in the evening. I immediately noticed it was going to the wrong address. No where on there website could I change it. I called immediately when they opened in the AM. Explained what happened. There was nothing they could do about it. Tried 2 different people. So my order is going to an empty mailbox in Arizona where it will sit until the end of October. Poor website and customer service. Will not use them again

I ordered from Herrschners because they had a specific discontinued yarn that I needed to finish a project. As it had limited availability, I was advised that I wouldn’t receive the yarn until it came back in stock, which was fine as I’m in no rush. They finally got it in stock months later and charged me/shipped the yarn. I have NO IDEA how, but instead of shipping to my address that I had given (SAME MAILING AND BILLING), they shipped my package to a RANDOM ADDRESS IN PHILADELPHIA. I had to pay a friend who lives in Philly to travel to the location, show the security guard screenshots of my receipts and shipping info, then have them RE-SHIP the yarn to Virginia. This yarn has now taken months and a ridiculous amount of money and I STILL don’t even have it. Then? Their customer service hours to call are during my work hours, so I can only communicate via email during the day and they “don’t use email as a main source of communication”. WTF? It’s 2026! Answer your F-ING EMAILS. Never again will I order from them.

Don't order from here. They will recharge your card and send items you didn't re-order.😱 My mom reached out to them and she told me, a lady she was talking to, I know mom calmly explaining what happened and the lady hung up in her face. Mother called back, she told her she's responsible for returning the item and then they would "consider" a return on something they fraudulently charged on an elderly woman's credit card and was RUDE! Disgusting service.

When u received my order of 4 skeins of Red Heart Itty Bitty Stripes yarn in the color Unicorn Mane it did not look like the correct yarn. I called customer service and they were not helpful. I sent photos and called again but the person who took my complaint was not there. U have been a good customer of Herschners for many years but I will not be ordering from them again.
