Hero ForgeReviews of heroforge.com

They are scammers. Low quality products, miniatures sold as full color only partially painted. A lot of lies from customer service... They told me that I have to fix and paint by myself the partially white minis, then send to them a picture of it... And they will print another one (this time colored for real) to me... Why should I need another one if I have yet fixed And painted the first one???? I had to call PayPal to have my refund. Beware of these scammers. EDIT: You still lie here... The resolution is ULTRA COLOR HD... The maximum level of quality offered by you! If you really want to do something refund me and stop with all these lies. I have received a Miniature wich is white for one third. EDIT N.2: Now they have sent me a request on PayPal, to receive a refund of 32usd if I ship them back an item payed 96 USD... They are really pathetic. Just deleted my account on their site... Congrats HeroForge! You have lost a customer who placed many orders on your site in these years and who gave you almost more than a thousand usd until now, for 32 bucks!!! Great choice indeed 😂😂😂😂

spent 140 for 2 miniaturs with shipping. i would have gotten something way better printing it myself. that is not ok.

Don't bother. The quality on the computer is VASTLY different than what you get. The mini had NO color definition, highlights, or lowlights. It was very basic as if painted by a beginner with a steady hand. For the $64 I paid, I could have paid a professional to paint a mini for significantly better quality. Very disappointed. Will not recommend or use again.

Wow, I REALLY wish I had looked up reviews before spending $75 on two tiny miniatures… We had high hopes for these custom painted pieces that turned out looking like melted, dirty excuses for a custom miniature. My partners piece was at least fully painted and looked mostly like the digital creation (aside from the fact that they—Hero Forge—just skip facial features/painting altogether) but mine is…a monstrosity. Unpainted in most places; the places that were painted, colors were clearly mixed, and it’s a mess, and there are few discernible pieces of armor, as everything just looks kind of melted together. Truly horrible, horrible quality. I will upstage my rating to two stars IF customer service helps me out.

I have to say, I'm incredibly surprised in the decline of Hero Forge's quality. My tabletop group has ordered a half-dozen or so minis from them in the past. All of which looked great. There's six minis sitting on my desk right now, however, that show a fairly significant drop in quality. I understand prices increase, but the new "budget-friendly" plastic minis are more expensive - and noticeably worse - than Hero Forge's baseline minis used to be. For an order that was almost $150.00, I'm not happy with these minis. At all. Apparently, I should have just dropped another $70 to avoid the artifacts, muddied details, inconsistent prints, and all-together-lost details. I used to gladly recommend Hero Forge. But I no longer can. At this point, you're far better off just trying to find a mini close to whatever vision you have. It'll be far cheaper. And far more detailed. Update: Customer service was great. They quickly submitted a reprint request. Those minis came in today, and they're almost exactly the same. Still muddy and lost details. Still random burrs. Still disappointed. Clearly their "affordable" option means mediocre quality. At least as far as any detailed design goes. Shame, really.

False advertising. The design tools on the website are great. So great, in fact, that your actual mini will look nothing like what you designed. Hard to describe how ripped off I feel by the company. Oh and when I brought this to the company's attention, they were of no help, and seem to be content with their finished product not meeting expectations of customers.

I made one order of two products, a couple of man and woman. Even though their community guidelines allow artistic nudity, apparently their entire team believe one exposed breast from the dress of a warrioress is extremely explicit and they refused to discuss it at all, just plain no. No choice, money back as credit on their site, and not even the entire order. They decided to print and ship the man without asking, which is useless to me since it was supposed to be a pair. Now if I wanted to redo the woman, I'd have to pay another shipping cost. People behind this site seem arrogant and out of touch with their human side. Robots who care only about money.

My mini showed up finally but... this is the second mini I got from heroforge, I came to me broken as with the last one, it's like there is 0 care in packing. I would have expected better from a company that does minis as their mainstay of business but when the product comes weeks late and broken or completely missing parts off of it. I cant advise people buy this...
