I had a very informative conversation, and I feel good about the weight loss plan we discussed. Everything has been a positive experience, from the medical advice I’ve received, to the cost of the medication.

The nurse was on time and listened to me. She was able to increase my dosage in hopes that it will help my hunger cravings. She answered all my questions. It was easy and a convenient way to have a checkup.

I'm an older RN and at a point where I was just too exhausted and demoralized to lose serious weight anymore. In desperation, I researched GLP-1 and my husband "gifted" me the subscription to Henry Meds. My interactions with the nurse practitioners are professional and thorough. And from the very first injection, all the food "noise" in my head ceased. Just stopped, cold. GLP-1 allows me to develop better relationships with food, judging portions and ignoring trigger foods. I'm not only losing weight, I'm more patient with the process overall. Because one of the actions of GLP-1 includes gut-slowing, I experienced intermittent nausea especially at the beginning of the program. I contacted the Henry Meds nurse practitioner and we developed a treatment plan including dosing adjustments and a nausea medication. I also upped my daily water intake and use a stool softener or Miralax every few days for more regular elimination, although loose stools are to be expected. At this point, I may have nausea for a few hours after an injection, but the worst is over. I feel 'way better and have resumed walking and light exercise, activities I haven't been able to enjoy in a few years. The key, I believe, to the success of the program is using the freedom from "food noise" to develop new dietary and exercise habits. I'm extremely delighted with the entire Henry Meds program and recommend it highly for appropriate patients.
