Refund revoked if you try a different product
While the customer service reps and doctor were very responsive and pleasant, hence all of the positive reviews, 90% of these reviews on here are before any weight loss results if you actually read them, especially for the oral semaglutide and Tirzepatide. That’s not really a review, or at least not an accurate one, at it does not evaluate the product’s performance (e.g, weight loss, appetite suppression, reduced snacking), which is what customers care about. Unfortunately, the injectable semaglutide, which came from Taylor-made drugs in KY, was not effective for me. After previously doing well and maintaining a thirty pound weight loss on Zepbound, I wanted to try compounded semaglutide to see if I had less fatigue, and the provider was honest that I probably wouldn't but I could try, which I appreciated her transparency. Surprisingly, my fatigue was better but the meds simply didn’t work for me. Within two weeks, I had GAINED five pounds despite counting calories and eating the same amount, even having upped the dosage to the max offered of 20 units (10 units every 3-4 days), equivalent of 1 mg Wegovy. I also think that’s ridiculous. In order to get the optimal dose for weight loss (1.7-2.4 mg) you have to pay even more than the already overpriced rates when compared to getting directly from your local compounding pharmacy. While it caused some fullness initially, it felt very uncomfortable like a rock in my stomach, like I ate too much, and it only lasted about a day or so and then quickly returned to pre-hunger levels. After a week or two, I didn’t even get that. It wasn’t anything like with Zepbound where my hunger was greatly suppressed for days without such discomfort. Since I never tried brand Ozempic, I unfortunately can’t compare it head to head with that but my hunch is that compound is not as strong/long-lasting through the week as brand, at least not that compounder. I also had some really bad sour stomach and diarrhea on this, which I didn’t have on Zepbound. Needless to say, I returned to Zepbound, and my weight went back down. If that was my experience only, I’d still have a decently positive review because they were helpful at first, but then the true colors showed. After the refund was issued for ineffectiveness, I was told if I try any future treatment with them, my refund will be revoked—even MONTHS later. Henry Meds should stop advertising that they have a money back guarantee policy if the guarantee is revoked by simply trying another product at the company. That’s NOT a guarantee if you take it back. It’s very misleading and untruthful, especially as this is not advertised anywhere on the website, and you are not informed upon purchase either (perhaps it’s buried in some extremely fine print somewhere? Not sure but still inexcusable). By “taking backing” a customer’s refund for simply trying other products at the company, which you’d think Henry Meds would want, you’re very effectively preventing customers from ever trying other products that could work for them, which any other reputable telehealth company allows switching to a different treatment if a former is not effective without punishing the customer, so this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth about Henry Meds, especially as only the first two months of the three months supply of medication I was sent would have been unexpired, and the medication was due to expire within two months, I was essentially shorted a month to try out the medication. It also concerned me that each month didn’t have its own vial, as the BUD is about 28 days for most injected compounded meds once opened, posing the concern of potential contamination which is problematic, as it is critical these medicines remain 100% sterile for your safety and livelihood. Whether they added preservatives to curtail this, I’m not sure, but it was concerning nevertheless as this is not explicitly stated. My treatment plan and dosing instructions confirm I was supposed to be given a three month supply of unexpired medication, but this did not happen which I communicated, and nothing was done about it. Had I been offered the chance to try another product to make up for the shortage and ineffectiveness of the injectables or any other recourse rather than being told I’d be punished with a refund reversal, I’d likely have a much more positive review. Therefore, I will be looking at Telehealth services that do not mislead customers or try to take back a refund that was issued months prior.
