New pharmacy sends out ineffective vials and customer service doesn’t care!
I was a subscriber of Henry Meds two times. The first time I subscribed I was a member for 4 months (between March and June of 2023) . It was a great experience. The semaglutide I received from the pharmacy they were using at the time, Empower, was awesome. I had great results, have lost 60 lbs. I took a break from my membership, and then started my membership again in Dec. 2023 to continue my progress. I received a new vial from a different compounding pharmacy this time, and it has done nothing for me. I am taking the highest dose of it and feel nothing, no appetite suppression, no reduction in weight, and I have been injecting it for at least 5 weeks now, and definitely think I with received a bad batch vial, a placebo, or significantly diluted vial. I did stop my membership in Jan of 2024 as I know the vial would last a while. I called customer service to let them know that the vial I received is a lemon. The only response I received was, oh sorry to hear that. I’m very disappointed to say the least. This medication is not cheap. I went digging online to see if anyone else has had this issue, and read on Redit, that several people have had the same issue. Apparently Henry Med is no longer using Empower pharmacy, and is using a pharmacy that sends out ineffective meds. I will be looking for a new company to provide my semaglutide going forward.

Thank you for your review. Every pharmacy we utilize tests every batch of vials using a third party lab before they are released from quarantine for dispensing (as required under sterile compounding rules), so the chance of one batch being "weak" compared to another is essentially non-existent since it would fail quality-control and testing and get rejected for dispensing. Unfortunately, some people do eventually stop seeing success with a specific medication.
