I travel for a living. I explained that to the physician who I saw during the virtual visit and was told I could manage the delivery--was not able to do so. Physician stated I needed to receive the injections, yet they had to be refrigerated. By the time I received them, 2 1/2 wks after my apt, the medication was warm b/c I had to have the delivery delayed once they finally shipped it. Once they started the processing (unknowing to me the day they would start), the only thing I could do was have the delivery stalled at the warehouse-so served no purpose to be in a refrigerated pouch. I asked for the oral, but was told it is less effective. I am on week 2 and seen no impact. I think I spent money on medication that won't be effective b/c I can not control how/when I receive it.

I was using them for 7 months when a situation arose where I needed to provide a medical note for a job (pilot) saying I was tolerating the medication well. I talked to the nurse practitioner/physician’s assistant (that’s who prescribes the meds with this company). She said she would be happy to write that note, but I needed to go through customer service to get a HIPPA release form for her and then she would send it right over. Shouldn’t be a big deal, right? Oh my god, it was the most frustrating process. I honestly don’t know how to describe the incompetence, disorganization and lack of caring that was displayed by the customer service department. After almost TWO MONTHS of back and forth of calling and emailing trying to get this release form sent (and having to deal with getting an extension from the FAA) I finally gave up and canceled my membership with Henry Meds. I ended up going to my regular doctor and he provided the note the FAA needed as well as took over care of my shot (for less per month than Henry Meds.) Use caution when dealing with them, because if you think you need might anything outside of the norm, dealing with customer service is an absolute nightmare. You won’t realize this at first because when you initially call they are GREAT salespeople and have that side of the business down to perfection. However, handling simple tasks that would be standard with any normal doctor’s office for some reason is next to impossible for them.

I switched to Henry Meds from another online company. Overall, Henry is better but still not quite right for me. The doctor appointments are always with a different person so it feel very impersonal. I plateaued using semaglutide and they increased my dose for an additional $100/month. When I asked to switch to a tirzepatide, I was told it was not available in my state (even though several other companies offer it). I watch my diet and exercise regularly. When I started weight lifting I actually gained a little weight. I tried to get one last refill before canceling my membership but they asked me to meet with yet another new doctor so I just decided to cancel and request a refund for this month since I did not receive medication or speak to a doctor. Surprisingly, they did cancel and refund me for this month. They did say that if I chose to reactivate my account, I’d have to pay $1,191 up front (!!!???). Because of that, I will definitely not be a returning customer. I gave 2 stars because of this mixed experience. As soon as I posted this, I was asked for proof that I was a real customer. 👀

I have gained 10 pounds since using Henry Meds two months ago with dissolving tablets. Currently at 1mg but when requested a higher dose like 1.5mg, it will be $100 more a month. They were not upfront about additional costs when I signed up. Seems like this company is more interested in the money, not success stories and customer satisfaction.

I’ve been using the sublingual method for almost 4 months and haven’t lost ONE pound… not ONE! And I promise, I’m not overeating… I have a pretty healthy diet. I had surgery and haven’t been able to exercise so a gained a few pounds. I just wanted to lose 10lbs… I’m going to finish this month, then cancel my prescription. Wonder if it’s just a scam and they send out placebos. Very disappointed!

I have had a phone call in since last Thursday. It is now Sunday and I have heard nothing! This does not seem like vert good customer care.

On Henry Meds Semaglutide and then tirzepatide, I GAINED 10lbs in 2 months. I had previously been on Zepbound but I switched to Henry Meds when there was a nation wide shortage of Zepbound. On the compounded medicine, I did not notice the quieting of my food thoughts or decrease in my appetite as I do when taking Zepbound. I am now back on Zepbound and I immediately started losing weight again. Though the medical professionals were very knowledgeable and kind, I was very frustrated with how difficult it was to get an appt with them. Overall my experience with this company was very disappointing and I just wasted hundreds of dollars.

My experience with Henry Meds is mixed. After my initial consultation I was prescribed an oral semaglutide that did absolutely nothing. After two months on the product with no real results, I was encouraged to switch to an injectable, which IS working (but is more expensive). The part that frustrates me is that I was declined a refund for the two months of oral meds, citing it was “outside of the allowable time” even through I was on a ramp-up schedule and was told to wait and see, so needless to say - no money back guarantee. I am posting this so other people speak up immediately if they don’t feel the medication is working for them.
