The Reality is Mixed
Pros: Quick process, talked to a nice provider within a week, meds shipped OK. Lots of different options to choose from. The medication is real and I felt a difference. Cons: Higher doses are more expensive. Customer service is difficult to get after intake. Tablet dosing seems less efficient than the shots. I only lost 1-2 pounds in two full months. That's not enough to justify the cost. I've decided to leave Henry Meds for a cheaper service after 2 months. I originally came to Henry because they were one of the first to have the sublingual tablets for GLP1s, but I've found that the tablets don't seem as effective as the shots may be. They need to keep working with the formula and dosing schedule for this form of the medication. I can feel that the medication is making a difference -- I think about food less and I stay full much longer -- and I would simply up my dosage with Henry off the "standard dose," BUT they charge $100 more a month for a higher dose. Since the tablets don't seem to be working that well for me, I'll be switching to the shot. And since there are several companies with cheaper compounded shots, I'll be trying a new service instead of staying. Henry will have to lower their prices to stay competitive.
